Answering Problems GuideCalculations A standard calculation problem will be worth 3 marks:

1 mark for using the correct equation.1 mark for correct substitution (putting the numbers in) 1 mark for correct answer with the correct unit.

It is best to write down all your steps to ensure you get as many marks as you can. Always work in SI units: convert centimetres into metres, hours into seconds
