Note: keep in mind that you cannot fill out a warranty claim for a SOLD unit that has not been registered. You are ONLY able to put in a claim for an unregistered machine when it is to fulfill the requirements of a service bulletin, or the claim is for a stock unit. Otherwise all machines need to be registered beforehand. Also please order replacement parts BEFORE entering a warranty claim for them as you need to use the invoice number in the claim.

The screen with a red banner at the top will appear.

1) Click on the word “Warranty” in the red banner at the top of the screen.

2) You now have 5 options

Select “Add New warranty Claim” Select “Add New Warranty Claim – Sales Prior to Oct 3, 2011” if the unit was in dealer inventory prior to Oct 3, 2011.

3) Click the drop down arrow on the “Claim Type” box, then select either “OEM” for a customer’s unit, “Dealer Stock Claim” for an unsold unit in your inventory, “90 Day Parts Warranty” for parts,or the “Campaign name” for the service bulletin you have completed.

When you make your selection as OEM, the screen will refresh and the “machine information section” will show a green “Lookup” button in it.

4) Click on the green lookup button beside the “Model type” field. This will open up the serial number lookup screen.

6) Click on “Select”. Once you have selected the serial number, it will automatically show up in the warranty screen. The model type, serial number, warranty start date, gearbox warranty expiration date and the registered owner field will be populated.

7) Select the failure date and repair date from the drop down boxes8) Fill in the rest of the criteria on the form. Note the red (*)

asterisks for the required fields. If you do not know what the machine is attached to, please just put a “1” in each area and select factory mounted from the drop down box. The Dealer comments section is where you relate to us what happened with the machine and what you did to repair it. If you have photos of the damaged parts, please attach them by clicking on the green Add pictures button. You can also add copies of invoices for non-Schulte parts here too. We prefer if you do attach photos of the damages and failed parts.

9) In the part number section, fill in the part number, invoice number, quantity, and then click the green Add button to add the parts to your claim. You also have the option for a part look up which is done by clicking on the green Look up parts button. You enter your replacement part number and then click search. The invoice numbers that have this part will be listed below and then you can choose the correct one from the listing available. Please refer to the following example.

You can then click on the Select and it will automatically fill the part number and invoice number. You will have to manually enter the quantity and the causal part. Once this is completed you can then click on the green Add button to add it to your claim. All parts that have been successfully added to a claim will be listed at the bottom of the claim under the Items on claim section. If your part is not showing up there, it is not properly added to your claim. You will receive a message at the top of the screen in green that indicates a part successfully added.

10) Complete the labor section. Note that all labor rates are defaulted to $85.00 per hour.

11) Add in freight if you were charged it on your Schulte invoice for your replacement parts for the machine repair. We will only credit ground shipments, not air or express.

12) Additional Claimable expenses (mileage, travel time, non-Schulte parts) should be recorded as applicable. If you for some reason have used non-Schulte parts you will need to send a copy of your invoice for said parts. You can include it in the photos section.

13) Include a valid email address. This address is where the response or notification regarding the claim will be sent.

14) Use the “Items on Claim” as a checklist. The total amount of the claim will be shown at the bottom of the claim

15) Submit the claim by clicking on the green submit button at the bottom of the claim form.

16) You will receive an automatic email with the claim application number and Schulte will receive the same email stating that you have submitted a warranty claim.
