A. Change Settings to Block a Game(1) On your Newsfeed or Timeline page, look for the gear icon near the top right corner.

The red arrow points to the Gear Icon. Click on it.

(5) Begin typing the name of game(s) or app(s) from which you wish to stop receiving requests. In this example (see red arrow), I entered just the first few letters of “Disney Hidden Worlds,” and immediately a drop-down list of matching apps appeared.

B. Use a Game Request to Block the AppAnother option is to take any game request and manipulate it to block further requests from that app, or “unfollow” the requester to block all game requests from that friend.

(1) If you use Games Feed, you should be able to find it in your APPS list from the lefthand column of your Newsfeed page (see red arrow below).

(1b) or click on the APPS text (see purple arrow below).

(1c) If you find Games Feed among your applications (APPS), click on it.

(1d) If you do not find Games Feed, then add it to your APPS by entering “Games Feed” in the text box at the top of any Facebook page to find Games Feed, then add it to your Applications (Apps).

(6) If instead you want to block requests for that game from all friends, click on the “Hide All” link (see green arrow below).

I personally seldom block requests, because they constitute less than 10% of my Newsfeed, so are not onerous or optically distracting. I seldom notice or monitor game requests that appear on the top right of the Newsfeed page, although it is enjoyable watching friends’ activity.
