He is wanted in many cases of extortion, robbery and murder, was arrested by the team from Laxmi Nagar Metro Station, Shakarpur, Delhi. He was thoroughly interrogated and found involved in twelve cases of extortion, robbery, murder etc. PROFILE Abhishek Singh was born in Nalanda, Bihar. PROFILE

Abhishek Singh was born in Nalanda, Bihar. His father was a Constable in Bihar Police (now promoted to the rank of Sub-Inspector and presently posted at Bokaro Thermal Police Station, Jharkhand). He was the eldest among his four brothers & one sister. He took his early education from Govt. School, Jamshed Pur as his father was posted there. He went to Co-operative College, Jamshedpur in the year 2003 and got involved in college politics. On the eve of Holi in 2003 to avenge a case of assault, he came in contact with persons namely Amarnath Singh, Dinu Singh, Durga Singh & Ajay Tiwari, who were working for Paramjit Singh, a gangster of Jamshedpur. There was gang rivalry between Paramjit Singh gang and one Sanatan Gope gang, who was operating from Mango area. On the provocation of Paramjit Singh & inspired by the Hindi feature film “Arjun Pandit” he killed Sanatan Gope and became a confidant of Paramjit Singh. He spent 13 months in jail in this case. Soon after release from jail he along with Paramjit Singh got involved in a “Gangwar” with Akhilesh Singh gang, resulting in the murder of Paramjit Singh in 2009. Other gang members declared Abhishek Singh as leader of the gang. Abhishek started collection of money from the contractors & businessmen of Jamshed Pur. He expanded his gang strength from 5 members to 40 active members. Many of his veteran associates namely Amarnath Singh, Guddu Pandey, Vijay, Madan, Pradeep & Vivek Pandey are currently lodged in jail and are operating from there only.

INCIDENT

On 05.03.2012 two persons were apprehended on the basis of human intelligence while driving in a Santro Car No. DL-2CAD-5974 by PS Jagat Puri. During sustained interrogation they disclosed that they have committed several burglaries in the area of Jamia Nagar, Delhi in the month of Februaruy,2012 after having been released from jail.

MODUS OPERANDI

The apprehended burglars disclosed that their associate Shamin was in the business of selling bed sheets in the area of Jamia Nagar and he used to reconnoiter the area. They targeted locked houses which had no CCTV Cameras in the houses, and which had small locks which could be broken easily. They used to break open the rear door preferably to gain access into the house. After entering the house, they chose to steal cash, jewellary and costly electronic items. They also used santro car in transporting the burgled items. The said car is registered in the name of Kadir Khan.

Dated: - 7/3/2012NOTORIOUS DRUG PEDDLER ARRESTED

Exhibiting brilliant investigation skills and professional competence, the outer district police comprising staff of PS Mangol Puri achieved a major success by arresting one drug peddler namely Harjeet @ Guniya S/O Satnam Singh r/o H.No.1123, Harizan Basti Mangolpuri Delhi, Age 36 and recovered 42 gram smack having value Rs. 4.2 lacs in international market from his possession.BRIEF FACTS OF THE INCIDENT:

In view of increasing incident of drug peddling in the area of outer district the staff of Mangolpuri Delhi were directed to curb such type of gangs. On 6/32012 at about 3.25 PM information was received that a drug peddler carrying smack will come at G block Jhuggi Mangolpuri. Acting on the information police swung in to action and at about 3.50 PM one person namely Harjeet @ Guniya was apprehended. On search 42 gms of good quality smack was recovered from the possession of accused Harjeet @ Guniya. In this regard a case vides FIR No. 84/12 U/S 21/61/85 NDPS Act was registered at P.S. Mangolpuri. Team:

A dedicated team comprising of SI Jogender Singh, Ct Ajay and Ct surender, was constituted under the guidance of Insp. Gajendra Singh, SHO/Mangol Puri and under overall supervision of Sh. Ved Parkash, ACP/Rohini.INTERROGATION.

On interrogation it was revealed that earlier he used to pick pocketing in the running Buses. He became drug addict and to full fill his requirement he used to sell the smack. Earlier he has been involved in NDPS cases. His other involvements and associates are being verified.

Further investigation is under progress.

GANG OF MOBILE SNATCHERS BUSTED : 2 ACCUSED ARRESTED, 6 SNATCHED EXPENSIVE MOBILE PHONES AND MOTOR CYCLE USED IN CRIME RECOVERED

 With the arrest of accused Ashfaq Ali (20 years) s/o Sheikh Rehmat Ali r/o

Plot No. 89, Vinay Nagar, Agwanpur, Faridabad, Haryana and S.K. Nafiruddin (20 years) s/o S.K. Kabiruddin r/o Plot No. 34, Vinay Nagar, Agwanpur, Faridabad, Haryana, staff of PS Vasant Vihar, South District has recovered 6 snatched mobile phones and motor cycle used in commission of crime. BRIEF FACTS :

In view of Holi festival, a team consisting of SI Sushil Sanwaria, HC Ramesh Trivedi, HC Ramesh Chand, Ct. Anil and Ct. Pradeep was formed under the supervision of Inspr. Ved Parkash, SHO/Vasant Vihar to keep close watch in the area to prevent M.V. theft and snatching. The members of team geared up their resources and developed information regarding the active snatchers which finally yielded results. On 06/03/12, acting on a specific information regarding notorious snatchers, a trap was laid by the team near Agrawal Sweets, Munirka Village and accused Ashfaq Ali and S.K Nafiruddin were arrested and recovered one stolen mobile phone and motor cycles used in commission of crime. Accordingly, both accused were arrested and put on sustained interrogation.

 INTERROGATION : 

            On sustained interrogation, both accused confessed to have committed various snatching / theft of mobile phones. They disclosed that on 28/02/12, they had snatched a mobile phone (Samsung Glaxy S II) from the area of PS Vasant Vihar. In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 77/12 u/s 379/411/34 IPC P.S. Vasant Vihar was registered. At the instance of accused persons, 5 more stolen mobile phones including Samsung Glaxy worth Rs. 29,000/- were recovered. Accused Ashfaq Ali is a school dropout and working in Courier Company as a delivery boy. After duty hours, he along with his associates Nafiruddin used to commit snatching and theft of mobile phones.

RECOVERY :

ONE ARRESTED WITH HUGE QUANTITY OF ILLICIT LIQUOR

A team of Police Station Pahar Ganj, Central District has arrested one Sunil @ Sonu, aged about 26 years s/o Ishwer Singh r/o Village & PO Siddipur Lova, P.S. Sadar Bahadurgarh, Haryana, 396 bottles of Old Monk and Contessa Rum and 96 quarters of liquor of Royal Gold Deluxe Whisky for sale in Delhi on the occasion of Holi from Haryana have been recovered from his possession.

INFORMATION, TEAM AND OPERATION

In view of the Holi celebrations, a close watch was being kept on the smuggling and supply of liquor in the district and all staff had been briefed/sensitized to keep a tab on bootlegging. On 06.03.12, a secret information was received that a silver coloured Maruti Alto car carrying huge quantity of illicit liquor would pass through Rani Jhani Road to Delhi Cant. On receipt of this information, a team comprising of Inspr. Bijender Singh, SHO/Paharganj, SI Amrish Giri, ASI Prit Pal, HC Ashok and Ct. Bhupender was constituted under the close supervision of Sh. Raja Ram, ACP/Pahar Ganj and the team started vehicle checking with barricading on Rani Jhansi Road near Ambedkar Bhawan in the area of P.S. Paharganj. During vehicle checking, one silver coloured Maruit Alto car was spotted and was signaled to stop but he tried to flee away. He was overpowered and on search, 336 bottles of Old Monk and Contessa Rum and 96 quarters of liquor of Royal Gold Deluxe Whisky were recovered from the back side seat of the car. Consequently, a case vide FIR No. 35/12 under section 33 of Delhi Excise Act was registered at PS Paharganj. The vehicle has also been seized by the police.

INTERROGATION

Accused Sunil was subjected to sustained interrogation in which he disclosed that two persons namely Rajan and Panna met him at Delhi Haryana Border and told to supply illicit liquor in Delhi on the occasion of Holi and will get handsome money for supply. Accused Sunil is unemployed and was in dire need of money. He accepted the offer given by Rajan and Panna to earn quick money.

Further investigation / interrogation is in progress and efforts are being made to arrest Rajan and Panna, who are still at large.

RECOVERY

396 bottles of Old Monk and Contessa Rum and 96 quarters of liquor of Royal Gold Deluxe Whisky.

PROFILE

1. Sunil @ Sonu s/o Ishwer Singh r/o Village & PO Siddipur Lova, P.S. Sadar Bahadurgarh, Haryana is 26 years old. He has studied up to 5th class. He has two sisters and one brother. To fulfill his daily financial needs, he used to work in electrical shop as a mechanic. To earn quick money, he committed the crime.

PRESS RELEASE 

 Drive against Male found in Women Reserve Coach of

Metro. 

 In Metro trains one coach was exclusively reserved for woman passengers by the DMRC authorities. It was observed that the male passengers used to enter in these reserved coaches. Delhi Metro Rail Police has taken an initiative to stop this menace and to prevent harassment of lady passengers traveling in Metro Trains. The staff of Metro Police specifically deployed to check the reserve lady coaches. The male passengers found in these reserve coaches were prosecuted u/s 64(1) DMRC Act 2002. The persons who were found in these reserve coaches were produced before the Station Controller of the Metro Stations who is authorized to fine them under the above said provisions. A special drive was conducted by all SHOs of Metro Police Stations during the period from 1.1.2012 to 4.3.2012 and 1584 persons got challenged. The police station wise details are as under:-

O R D E R

Whereas a large numbers of complaints are being received that people purchasing liquor vends often start consuming in front of liquor vend and at other public places. Venders selling eatable and juices at time also station themselves unauthorizedly outside liquor vends which further facilitate this undesirable activity. At times, Baratis accompany Barats also openly drink liquor etc., on the Roads while the Barats are moving. Drinking in public is a nuisance with a serious potential to result in brawls and quarrels causing serious injuries/death and damage to public and private property. This affects the peace and tranquility of the area and creates problems in maintaining law and order. It is also a punishable offence u/s 40-A, Delhi Excise Act-2009.

2. And whereas it is necessary to take speedily measures in this regard to prevent danger to human life and safety and to thwart/prevent untoward incidence that may affect the peace and tranquility of the area.

3. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 144 Criminal procedures Code, 1973 read with Govt. of India Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi’s Notification No. 11036/1/2010-UTL dated 09.09.2010, I Ram Singh, Asstt. Commissioner of Police, Sub-Division Gokal Puri, North-East District, Delhi do hereby make this written order for strict compliance by the owners of such liquor vends in the area of Sub Division Gokal Puri, North-East Distt., Delhi.

a) Install CCTV with sufficient number of Camera and recording system to cover up to 50 meters area in front of the shop. The CCTV should monitor anyone consuming liquor, facilitating consumption of liquor or any unauthorized vender stationed in the coverage area.

b) The CCTV system should become operational within 15 days from the date of issue of this order.

c) The recording system shall preserve a digital record of CCTV coverage for not less than 10 days.

d) The vend owner or his agent shall cause to copy the CCTV coverage on a CD on a daily basis which shall then be handed over to the Beat Constable of the area, against proper receipt in a register to be maintained at the liquor vend.

e) Before starting sales for the day, the manager of the liquor vend should ensure the CCTV system is in a proper working order and in case any defect noticed, immediate action to get it rectified should be taken. An entry should be made in the register and intimation in writing should be sent to the police station simultaneously to be got duly received from the Duty Officer of the police Station mentioning Daily Diary Number on the intimation.

f) During the course of monitoring of the CCTV System, the Manager of anyone specifically designated by the Manager for real time monitoring of CCTV Cell immediately inform the police Control Room at Telephone No.100 and also nearest police Station in case any illegal drinking in public or unauthorized vendor is noticed in the CCTV coverage area.

g) The vend owner shall display prominently at least two bilingual sign boards mentioning the drinking in public place is an offence and standing of unauthorized vendors outside the liquor shop is strictly prohibited. Telephone number of nearest police Station shall also be mentioned on the signboards.

4. This order shall come into force with effect from 10.03.2012 and shall remain in force for a period of 60 days i.e. upto 08.05.2012 (both days inclusive) unless withdrawn earlier.

5. Any person contravening this order shall be punishable under Section 188 of the Indian penal Code.

6. As the notice cannot be served individually on all concerned, the order is passed ex-parte. It shall be published for the information of the public through the press and by affixing copies on the Notice Board of the offices of all Districts, Police Stations concerned and the offices of the MCD, NDMC, PWD, DDA, DMs, FC, Tehsildar etc.

Whereas report have been received that due to the situation prevailing in the area of Police stations of North-East District, it is apprehended that terrorist/anti-social elements may seek hideouts in the residential areas of the said Police Stations/North East District and there is every likelihood of breach of peace and disturbance of public tranquility and also there is grave danger to human life, safety and injury to public property on that account.

2. And whereas it is necessary that some checks should be put on landlords/tenants so that terrorists/anti-social elements in the guise of Tenants may not cause explosion, riots, shoot outs, affray etc. and that immediate action is necessary for the prevention of the same.

3. Now, therefore, I Ram Singh, Asstt. Commissioner of Police, Sub-Division Gokal Puri, North East District, Delhi in exercise of the power conferred upon me under section 144 Cr. P.C. 1973 (No.2 of 1974) read with Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Notification No. U-11036/1/2010-UTL, dated 09.09.2010 do hereby order that no landlord/owner/person of any house/property which falls under the jurisdiction of Sub Division Gokul Puri, North East District, Delhi shall let/sublet/rent out any accommodation to any person unless and until he has furnish the particulars of the said tenant(s) to the Station House Officer of the Police Station concerned. All persons who intend to take accommodation on rent shall inform in writing in this regard to the Station House Officer concerned in whose jurisdiction the premises fall. The persons dealing in property business shall also inform in writing to the Station House Officer concerned, in whose jurisdiction the premises fall about the particulars of the said tenants.

4. This order shall come into force with effect from 11.03.2012 and shall remain in force for a period of 60 days i.e. upto 09.05.2012 (both days inclusive) unless withdrawn earlier.

5. Any person contravening this order shall be punishable under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.

6. As the notice cannot be served individually on all concerned, the order is passed ex-parte. It shall be published for the information of the public through the press and by affixing copies on the Notice Board of the offices of all Districts, Police Stations concerned and the offices of the MCD, NDMC, PWD, DDA, DMs, FC, Tehsildar etc.

SNATCHERS AND AUTO-LIFTER ARRESTED 

HIGHLIGHTS:-

         Four accused arrested by the staff of PS SP Badli, PS Prashant Vihar and PS South Rohini.         One snatched Mobile phone Samsung champ black, One stolen Motorcycle No. DL8S-1849 (TVS-Victor) and One Black Colour pulsar M/cycle involved in snatching recovered.         Two cases of snatching and one case of M.V. theft worked out. 

BRIEF FACTS:-           With the arrest of Deepak @ Poli s/o Bani Singh r/o MCD Colony Samay Pur Delhi age-21, Amit S/o Shri Pradeep R/o H.No. 52 MCD Flats Sec-04 Rohini, Delhi aged 22 years, Bharat @ Tinku S/o lt Sh Mata Din R/o Juggi No. 467, near JPG Hospital, Sec-3, Rohini Delhi and  Rajkumar S/o Lt Nathe Singh R/o A-586, Shawda JJ Colony, Kanjhawla, Delhi the outer district police worked out two cases of snatching and one case of M.V. Theft. INCIDENT:-

1.    A case vide FIR no. 15/12, dt. 13.01.12, U/s 365/379 IPC, PS SP Badli was registered regarding snatching of a Mobile phone from the pocket of a pedestrian in village Khera Kalan, Delhi.  In order to nab the snatcher, a team comprising of SI Bhupesh and Ct. Rahul was constituted under the supervision of SHO Badli. They were given specific task of verification and identification of snatcher. They developed information that the mobile phone snatched in case FIR No 15/12 dated 13.01.12 u/s 356/379/411 IPC PS S P Badli is in the possession of one boy namely Deepak r/o MCD colony. Accordingly, team started searching for the boy and conducted raids at several places. After dedicated efforts, they succeeded in arresting Deepak @ Poli s/o Bani Singh MCD Colony, Samai Pur, Delhi aged 21 years. During the sustained interrogation, he revealed that one Rahul was also involved in the case, who gave the phone to him for disposing off.  Efforts are on to trace co-accused Rahul.  2.    On 05.03.2012, HC Subhash No. 3054/OD, Ct Jagroop No. 791/OD/, Const. Kalu Ram No.2566/OD, Ct. Ashok No. 1127/OD, Const. Dharmender No. 678/OD were conducting checking of Vehicles near Sukhdham Appartments, Sec-9, Rohini, Delhi. At about 6.20 PM one M/cycle borne youth, who was not wearing helmet, tried to take U turn to avoid the Police checking, but the staff deployed on cut off point apprehended  him after a minor chase. When he was asked to produce the documents pertaining to ownership of the vehicle, he could not produce the same. During enquiry he revealed his identity as Amit S/o Shri Pradeep R/o House No. 52 MCD Flats Sec-04 Rohini, Delhi. On verification from ZIPNET the said M/Cycle DL-8S-1849 was found to be stolen from the area of PS K.N Katzu Marg, Delhi vide Case FIR No. 407/11 U/s 379/IPC PS K.N. Katju Marg.The accused person was arrested u/s 41.1(D) CrPC and M/cycle was seized U/s 102 CrP.C.

 

3.    On dated 03-03-12 a PCR call regarding snatching of gold chain was received at P.S. South Rohini.  The complainant reported that she and her colleague were going on M/cycle towards Avantika Chowk on sec 2/3 divider road. Two boys riding on a Black Pulsar M/cycle came from backside and the pillion rider of the motorcycle suddenly snatched her chain but the riders also fell down and as she cried for help, they left their motorcycle on the spot and managed to escape from the place of incident. A case vide FIR no. 46/12 u/s 382 IPC, PS South Rohini was registered.           During the course of investigation the ownership details of M/cycle were obtained and raids were conducted on the given address and the owner of the

m/cycle Rajkumar S/o Lt Sh Nathe Singh and the main accused Bharat @ tinku S/o Matadin were arrested.  On interrogation Rajkumar told that he used to give his M/cycle to his cousin Bharat @ Tinku and in return he received money from the earnings whatsoever made by his cousin in way of snatching. Accused Bharat @ Tinku also disclosed about two recent snatchings committed by him in Delhi.

MASSIVE CRACK DOWN ON SALE OF ILLICIT LIQUOR ON THE EVE OF HOLI FESTIVAL, FOUR BOOTLEGGERS ARRESTED, ILLICIT LIQUOR IN HUGE

QUANTITY SEIZED 

HIGHLIGHTS:-

         Four bootleggers arrested by the staff of PS SB Dairy, Narela, Kanjhawala and Sultan Puri in separate incidents.         2231 Qtrs, 27 Halves and 54 Bottles of illicit liquor seized.         Four cases of Delhi Excise Act, 2009 registered. 

BRIEF FACTS:-           The staff of Outer District was directed to keep a close vigil over the sale/transportation of illicit liquor during the festive season of Holi. Special pickets were deployed and patrolling was intensified.  The alert staff of Outer District nabbed four bootlegger and recovered huge quantity of illicit liquor from their possession.  The accused were booked in Delhi Excise Act, 2009. In last two days 2213 Qtrs., 27 Halves and 54 Bottles of illicit liquor seized in Outer District.
