After watching the story, can you answer these questions?

· Which characters were in the story?

· Which things did the witch lose in the story?

· Which animal found the things that the witch lost?


After watching the story, can you think of:

· Who was there in the beginning of the story? What happened next? Who came next? What happened at the end?

· Can you draw a story map to show what happened in the story?

· Can you write some words to label your story map?


Now can you think of:

· Where were the witch and the animals flying over?

· Where did they go?

· Can you draw any of the places the witch and the animals went?

· Can you write a sentence about the places they went.

Please send a copy to your teacher.


· The witch was very kind to take the animals on her broomstick as the animals wanted to come with her. Today we’re going to think about who you want to take on your broomstick, if you were the witch.

· Who do you want to take on your broomstick and why?


Can you make some stick puppets for the characters (the witch, the cat, the dog, the bird, the frog, or the dragon) in the story and act out the story?

· Draw the characters on paper and colour them in if you want to.

· Cut them out.

· Stick them on a lolly stick or a straw.

· What does each character say?

Ask your grown up to film you acting out your story.
