P.E. Whilst P.E. lessons have to take place outside, the P6 P.E. day is a Wednesday. On this day, the pupils can come to school wearing appropriate clothing for taking part in physical activity outside. For many of the pupils, their normal school uniform is fine for this. However, joggers/leggings, T-shirts/hoodies and trainers can also be worn. For the rest of the term, P6 will continue to focus on athletics and games! During the first few weeks of term, the P6 pupils created a Class Charter. The pupils discussed the importance of children having rights and responsibilities, and then thought about how they link with the school values. P6 then worked together to create rules and expectations which we think are important for a happy and productive classroom. Here they are! We will make sure that we use positive language and make positive Outdoor Learning The class have enjoyed their new daily Outdoor Learning slot. The pupils have experienced a range of different outdoor learning activities, including: compass reading and direction, active spelling, designing and building Sighthill Primary School Wee enough to care, big enough to inspire! We have reflected upon our goals and strategies for success to help towards the pupils having a positive P6 experience! So far this term, P6 have been busy learning to describe, plot and record the location of different coordinates. They managed to create pictures using their plotting skills and even extended into using negative numbers! School Farm

P6 will be given the opportunity to continue their fantastic work on the School Farm in the upcoming

As well as this, the school is very lucky to be working with Mr Russell from Active Schools
