Maths: Area
1. Revise tables 4,8,122. See ixl.com Maths 6th Class – section Geometric Measurement (3rd
column about half way down). There are a number of sections dedicated here to perimeter and area. Try 5th class if you are finding these ones challenging and this will help you to revise.
3. Operation Maths (by Edco) Ch.17 p.160 Area & Busy at Maths 6 Ch.24 p.125
Remember the area and perimeter of shapes are as outlined below.
Today, we are looking at measuring the surface area of 3-D shapes such as cubes. All the faces of a cube are the same, so find the area of one face (use your formula LxW) & multiply by
the number of faces. Try Q1,2 &3.

Geography: Africa – CJ Fallon Small World Sixth Class Geography & Science Unit 8 p.41+42. Read the information below on Africa & afterwards write (from memory) in your copy 6-10 facts you have learnt about Africa.
Don’t forget, the facts must be written from memory so read the information more than once to help!
