Literacy- Discuss the sandwich you wrote about yesterday. Can you work with an adult to write a set of instructions to show how to make it? Use the template provided. Remember to include numbered steps and time conjunctions e.g. first, next and then.

Follow the instructions you have written and make your sandwich. Taste it and write a simple sentence about it.

History- Who has helped make history?Look at images to try and work out key information about the individual.

Encourage the children to ask lots of questions. Start by simply looking at the three images given. Encourage observation of evident features, buildings, clothes, activity. Children can add simple labels to the images.

What do they notice about the photographs – black and white, old/new? Do they have any ideas about when? Where? Who? What are they doing? What is
