Dear parents/carers Re: Harvest Festival We will be celebrating Harvest Festival within school, in classes next week (W/C Monday 12 th October). We will be talking to the children about the festival and the importance of helping others less fortunate than ourselves. We will be listening to songs in school, however, if you would like to practice at home, please see the links below: What a wonderful world - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p- T6aaRV9HY Harvest samba - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTdIrlTlXks It’s harvest time - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4- 3JPZcLjVE Cauliflowers fluffy - https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=JRQEQgyGAGA As in previous years, we will be supporting the local community through donations of goods to Birmingham Central Food Bank. They do vital work supporting those families hit by the recession and poverty. This is especially important in the current climate. If your child would like to bring a donation, please can these be brought in by Monday 12th October. There will be a box in each class for their collections. It would be much appreciated if the food could either be in tins or in packets with a long use by date to increase the shelf life of our donations. List of suggested items of food:
