Homework – Due Sept. 19th Grade 2 TLC Weekly homework will be posted to Weebly on Fridays . Please ensure that it is returned to the school every Thursday . The homework program includes 15-20 minutes of daily reading. Please use personal books, library books or the on-line leveled reading resource, Raz- Kids (Raz-Kids sign in is coming soon). This should be fun reading practice at a level that is relatively easy for your child (they are able to read almost all words correctly). It should include some discussion time to ensure your child has a good understanding of the stories they are reading. As we are just teaching students the routines of grade 2 there will be no spelling words or test this week. Please remember neatness counts and this is the best opportunity to help your children with correct printing practices to set them up with good habits. We ask that the children date their homework , write each letter as many times as possible in one row of print, using finger spaces between words. Literacy MAP emphasizes the correct formation of the letters with upper case letters taking one full line of print and lower case letters taking half a line. Please leave one empty line between spaces

Weekly homework will be posted to Weebly on Fridays. Please ensure that it is returned to the school every Thursday.

The homework program includes 15-20 minutes of daily reading. Please use personal books, library books or the on-line leveled reading resource, Raz-Kids (Raz-Kids sign in is coming soon).

Please leave one empty line between spaces of print and ensure all homework is carefully done in pencil.

Please ensure that the homework is dated in the notebook and the work is neatly organized. Please support/monitor your child as needed to complete their homework correctly and review it with them prior to returning it at school. It will be checked for completion, possibly reviewed in class, but not marked or graded. Please
