Lawrence Hill at Jackman School Equity Assembly

The parent council is proud to bring the critically acclaimed and insightful author, Mr. Lawrence Hill, to Jackman Public School.

Mr. Hill will be speaking with the senior students (grades 4-6) from 12:55 to 1:40 on April 16, 2013. Parents are invited to attend.

Mr. Hill will be addressing the themes in his non-fiction book, Black Berry, Sweet Juice. These themes include race and identity and his family’s experience in Toronto.

Parents are welcome to bring their copies of Mr. Hill’s books for signing. A selection of his books will be available for purchase.
