• Create Spreadsheets or Databases objects and use Save As Web Page

• Use Web Design Software —Dreamweaver, FrontPage, Communicator, SeaMonkey

• Use Notepad and Write HTML programs

SAVE AS OPTIONS

• HTML, fully formatted web page with separate images.

• HTML filtered, simple formatted web page with separate images.

• MHTML, fully formatted web page including images

• XML, advanced formatted web page with separate images and style sheets.

INSERTING GRAPHICS

• Simple Clipart—GIF, JPG, PNG

• Complex Graphic—BMP, TIFF

• Avoid proprietary Formats—WPG, PSP, PSD

• Size of graphic may need adjustment

• Format of graphic may need conversion

FORMATTING CHECKLIST

• Remove unnecessary material

• Check word spacing & alignment

• Check consistent line spacing

• Check paragraphs & tabs

• Check consistent list formats

• Check Chart and Graphic conversion

FRAME AND COLUMN TRANSFER

• Text frames don’t transfer well

• Adjust box position

• Adjust column wrapping

• Adjust text placement
