Today’s Objectives: By the end of the class period students should be able to say:

1. I CAN define a site in Dreamweaver and save the site to the right folder 2. I CAN create a new page in the website and designate it as the home page 3. I CAN add content to a web page by editing and deleting placeholders

Class Work:

1. Start Dreamweaver 2. Go to the menu at the top and click on Site, then New Site…

3. Navigate to your H:drive then to the Web Design Folder 4. This is where you will create a new folder for your Website in your

Web Design folder in your H:Drive

6. Type Your number and last name then -Computer Ergonomics as the Folder name

Then open and Select 7. Now type Computer Ergonomics in the Site name

Before you click Save click on the Advanced Settings on the left side

8. Now Click on the Default Images folder icon

9. Make sure that you are in the correct folder you just created and click

on the Create New Folder Icon again

10. Name this folder Images

11. Then click open then Select

12. Now Click SAVE on this screen

13. Now turn to page 77 in your book and follow the directions for Practice: Computer Ergonomics –part 2 of 8

14. Keep reading the chapter and go on to Practice 3 on page 81 and complete through page 82

15. Do not drop off anything
