Friday evening, sup-porters of the SherburneNational Wildlife Refugecame out for an evening of
craft beer, wine, and cheesetasting at The Friendly Buf-falo.
This event was put onby The Friends of Sher-burne National WildlifeRefuge. Event goers got toenjoy appetizers, livelyconversation, music andbidding on quality silentauction items. Proceedsfrom this event will be usedto support environmentaleducation at the Refuge'snew Oak Savanna LearningCenter. Lake Liquors of
Big Lake supplied bever-ages for sampling andknowledgeable people totalk about them. C & L dis-tributing had many differ-ent craft beers to samplesuch as Goose Island IPA,Kono Big Wave and JackPine Vengeance.
There were also fourwine vendors at this event,Phillips wine and Spirits,The Wine Company, Break-thru Beverage and WineMerchants, all of which hadan amazing array of winesto taste.
The music was pro-vided by, Marcie New, John
Seppannen, Cliff Crockfordand Erik Thebert, who
played old country and folkmusic.
