Cup Weaving

1. Draw 11 equally spaced dots along the top of the cup.

2. Cut a small cut at each dot.

3. Pull down each small cut so it stretches down almost to the bottom of the cup.

4. Use yarn to weave in and out, in and out, in and out…

Looper Looms1. Start by stretching

a loop from one peg to a peg on the opposite side.

2. When you finish all of the loops going in one direction you can start weaving in the other direction:over, under, over…

3. When you are finished weaving Mrs. Brown will show you how to take it off the loom.

Flat Weaving1. Cut a long piece of

yarn (3 body lengths)

2. Use thelong piece of yarn to make the “Warp” going up and down one side of the loom.

3. Tie the end pieces together in the back.

4. Get another colored yarn and string it through a needle.

5. Tie that yarn to a starting point on the warp and start weaving it over, under, over, under…

Circle Weaving
