1. NEW CONSTRUCTION

(a.) Apply before the cure on newly placed concrete, PENTRA-HARD® DENSIFIER may be applied immediately after finishing, or immediately after joints have been cut and cleaned, or anytime thereafter at the project manager’s discretion. (PENTRA-HARD® DENSIFIER is specifically formulated for optimum performance on green, freshly placed concrete.)

2. RESTORATION / RE-POLISHING

(a.) Intended for use during polishing/honing processes. PENTRA-HARD® DENSIFIER will increase abrasion resistance so product should generally be applied only after desired grinding/cutting steps have been completed, and prior to actual polishing steps. (Consult diamond abrasive manufacturer for optimal application steps)

(b.) Enhance color intensity, gloss and light reflectance and reduce efflorescence, mineral deposits and staining by using PENTRA-HARD® GUARD High-gloss, Stain and Wear Protector after PENTRA-HARD® DENSIFIER as a topical treatment using high-speed equipment and hogs hair burnishing pad.

3. Apply to newly placed concrete as the Cure and Hardener / Densifier. PENTRA-SIL® (HD+C) is a water-based, clear, dissolvable / dissipating membrane-forming curing compound, hardener and densifier that meets ASTM C-309 “Liquid Membrane – Forming Compounds for Curing Concrete” moisture retention requirements.

4. Can be applied to fresh, newly troweled concrete and tilt-up construction slabs.

5. Curing compounds can be applied on top of treated surfaces to provide ultimate hydration while minimizing discoloring or whitening of the surface.

6. Intended for use as the Hardener/ Densifier during the grinding process or as a spiff coat for surfaces that have been integrally or topically colored, dyed or stained.

7. Provides a permanent, hydrophobic surface that protects and preserves concrete surfaces and a variety of masonry substrates from staining, efflorescence and chloride ion intrusion without altering the natural appearance and texture. (e.g. parking garages, stadiums)

8. Excellent color enhancer and sealer for acid stained, integrally colored concrete and dyed concrete floors or pavers.

9. Provides lasting strength and high-gloss shine with less maintenance than traditional finishes.

(a.) Easy to repair or re-coat; no stripping required; surface will resist staining, scratching and black marking better than traditional acrylic floor finishes. Reduces floor maintenance costs.

(b.) For applications where greater shine, abrasion, and stain resistance are required, apply 3 applications of PENTRA-FINISH, burnishing between coats. Excellent for protecting high traffic areas like entrances, aisles and food venues from stains and spills.

10. Provides ultimate stain and scratch resistance while producing a low-gloss / matte finish to polished concrete toppings, finished stone and terrazzo.

11. Weather-proofing and color enhancing for exterior stone applications pavers, bricks and decorative concrete.

12. Protect exterior surfaces from unwanted effects of water and oil penetration and/or dirt and grime buildup.

13. Cleans and neutralizes concrete that suffers from efflorescence, sweating, and other alkalinity problems. Also excellent for cleaning concrete after diamond polishing. PENTRA-SIL (C&N) removes fine particles and dust that can reduce shine.

14. Reduces sweating of concrete surfaces previously treated with sodium or potassium products and reduces vapor drive that carries the alkaline salts to the surface of the concrete.

15. Seals and permanently protects concrete surfaces from the damaging effects (scaling and spalling) caused by freeze-thaw cycles and de-icing chemicals. (Ideal for sidewalks, driveways and loading docks)

16. Capable of melting large volumes of ice and snow fast. Resists re-freezing (common to many de-icers) to help prevent the formation of “black ice.” Is safer for the environment than conventional salts. Environment-friendly, safe on grass, plants and shrubs and will not contribute to ASR.

17. Exterior sidewalks, walkways and entrances. Protect the interior floor from tracked-in de-icing salts and sand. Some ice melt compounds have high pH levels that act like a floor stripper by taking the finish off interior surfaces. Plus the abrasion from sand and salt quickly degrades interior substrates

18. The breathable, water-based coating allows moisture vapor to pass, preventing the blistering, peeling and failure of adhesion frequently associated with epoxy and polyurethane coatings.

19. Pentra-Paint (LM) - Safety and Traffic Marking Paint is ideal for marking interior and exterior curbing and lanes on driveways, sidewalks, factory floors, parking lots and airport runways.
