Gate Valves

Gate valves provide optimum performance in conditions where high flow efficiency, tight shut off and long service is required. Ideal for a variety of services within many industries including chemical pulp and paper power and wastewater. For comple-te versatility the range includes fabricated, forged, and cast designs. Gate or knife valves are linear motion valves in which a flat closure element slides into the flow stream to provide shut-off. Gate valves are usually divided into two types: parallel and wedge-shaped. The parallel gate valve uses a flat disc gate between two parallel seats, upstream and downstream. Knife valves are of this type, but with a sharp edge on the bottom of the gate to shear entrained solids or separate slurries. Advan-tages include the ability to cut through slurries. Large sizes are commonly available. Disadvantages include pressure limitations, lack of cleanliness, and low shut-off.

Pinch Valves

Pinch valves include any valve with a flexible elastomer body that can be pinched clo-sed, cutting off flow, using a mechanism or fluid pressure. Pinch valves are full bore, linear action valves so they can be used in both an off/on manner or in a variable position or throttling service. Some typical applications for pinch valves are medical, pharmaceutical, wastewater, slurries, pulp, powder and pellets. They can effectively control the flow of both abrasives and corrosives, as there is no contact between metal parts and the transport media.

Steam Traps

Drip and Tracer (repairable)

Drip and Tracer Type Steam Traps provide discharge of condensate from steam line drip, steam tracing, turbine drains, and soot blowers in light to medium processes.

Drip & Tracer (non repairable)

Drip and Tracer Type Steam Traps provide discharge of condensate from steam line drip, steam tracing, turbine drains, and soot blowers in light to medium processes.

Process Thermostatic

Thermostatic traps react to changes in temperature and therefore discriminate very well between steam and cooler non condensable gases. They can rapidly purge air from a system, especially on cold startups.

Process Thermodynamic

Thermodynamic traps are phase detectors in that they can discriminate between condensate and steam. The main thermodynamic feature that is desirable in process appli-cations is the hot-running design and responsiveness to load changes.

n Control Valvesn Solenoidsn Pneumatic positionersn Smart Positionersn Actuatorsn Mounting Kits

Control Valves

Are used in the industry to control parameters such as flow, pressure, tem-perature, conductivity, pH, level, etc. The globe valves are the most com-monly used, also ball, diaphragm, butterfly, or even plug valves can be used. Normally with pneumatic actuators, and electro pneumatic positioners are mounted, though there is also the possibility of using regulating with electric actuators. The transmitters are in 4-20 MA, Modbus, or Fieldbus connectivity.

Globe valves

Globe valves are linear motion valves with rounded bodies, from which their name is derived. They are used widely in industry to regulate fluid flow in both on/off and throttling service. Advantages include precise throttling and control, as well as high-pressure limits. Disadvantages include low cleanliness and the inability to handle slurry.

Ball valves

Ball valves provide tight shut-off and characterizable control. They have high ran-geability due to the design of the regulating element, without the complications of side loads typical of butterfly or globe valves. Advantages include ease of operation and high flow, high pressure, and high temperature capabilities. Disadvantages inclu-de low cleanliness and an inability to handle slurries.

Balancing valves

Balancing valves are mixing valves that maintain a constant water tempe-rature by balancing hot and cold supply lines. They are able to compensa-te for a pressure drop in either supply line and can maintain a consistent temperature. Balancing valves are sometimes referred to as pressure-balancing valves.

Butterfly valves

Butterfly valves control the flow of gas or liquid with a disk which turns on a diametrical axis inside a pipe, or by two semicircu-lar plates hinged on a common spindle, permitting flow in only one direction. They are used as throttling valves to control flow. Butterfly valves offer a rotary stem movement of 90 degrees or less in a compact design. unlike ball valves, butterfly valves do not have pockets in which fluids may become trapped when the valve

is closed. Advantages include suitability for chemical services, small dimensions, and high coefficient of flow.

Disadvantages include low cleanliness and the inability to handle slurries.

Plug valves

Plug valves, also called cock or stop-cock valves, date back to ancient times, whe-re they were developed for use in citywide Roman plumbing systems. Today, they remain one of the most widely used valves for both on/off and throttling services. Their design is fairly simple; the body is comprised of three main parts: body, cover and plug. The plug is a cylindrical, tapered, or generally cone-shaped device that can be raised or lowered within the seat to maintain, restrict or completely shut off flow. The valve is opened by rotation with the plug itself being the only element that is capable of movement. Advantages: Easy operation, medium to high flow, good shut off. Disadvantages: Low cleanliness, inability to handle slurry.

Diaphragm valves

Diaphragm valves are related to pinch valves, but use an elastomeric diaphragm instead of an elastomeric liner to separate the flow stream from the closure ele-ment. Instead of pinching the liner closed to provide shut-off, the diaphragm is pus-hed into contact with the bottom of the valve body. Diaphragm valves are excellent for controlling the flow of fluids which contain suspended solids. They also offer the flexibility of installation in any position. Diaphragm valves are used widely in the phar-maceutical, food processing, and water treatment industries. Advantages include cleanliness and tight shut-off. Disadvantages include low pressure and temperature limits, and multi-turn operation.

electro-Pneumatic Positioners

Electromechanical positioners are conven-tional pneumatic positioners that have an additional integrated electro-pneumatic transducer. The transducer receives the DC analogue input signal from the control system and converts it to a proportional pneumatic signal which is then sent to the conventional positioner Almost every Fisher® pneumatic positioner has the option of adding an integrated electro-pneumatic transducer. This option allowing customers to upgrade their exis-ting control technology while continuing to use their current reliable Fisher positio-ner technology they are comfortable and familiar with.

Smart positioned is enhanced by the ability to customize the control action, set travel limits and monitor valve position. The embedded menu driven program, ac-cessed via the integrated keypad, eliminates the need for additional or remote soft-ware. Data logging of valve performance will assist maintenance diagnostics whilst adaptive action helps to compensate for changes in supply air pressure and stem friction. Having travel switches and a 4-20 mA retransmission as standard it is easy to monitor the valve in operation.

All units are supplied with standard mounting kit conforming to IEC60534-6-1 for lined actuators or VDI/VDE 3845 for rotary actuators making them quick and easy to assemble. They operate on a non mechanical magnetic feedback system which is very easy to set-up and will not suffer wear, vibration or dirt problems. A simple auto stroke routine makes it extremely quick and easy to commission and the keypad provides trouble free navigation through the menu system. Manual operation is avai-lable at the touch of a button.

electric actuator

Electric actuators are used for the automation of industrial valves and can be found in all kinds of technical process plants. They play a major part in automating process control.

Motor

Robust asynchronous three-phase AC motors are mostly used as the driving force, for some applications also single-phase AC or DC motors are used. These motors are specially adapted for valve automation as they provide higher torques from standstill than comparable conventional motors, a ne-cessary requirement to unseat sticky valves. The actuators are expected to operate un-der extreme ambient conditions, however they are generally not used for continuous operation since the motor heat buildup can be excessive.

Limit and torque sensors

The limit switching measures the travel and signals when an end position has been reached, the torque switching measures the torque present in the valve. When exceeding a set limit, this is signalled in the same way. Actuators are often equipped with a remote position transmitter which indicates the valve position as continuous current or voltage signal.

Gearing

A worm gearing is used to reduce the high output speed of the electric motor. This enables a high reduction ratio within the gear stage, leading to a low effi-ciency which is desired for the actuators. The gearing is therefore self-locking i.e. it prevents accidental and undesired changes of the valve position by acting upon the valve’s closing element. This is of major importance for multi-turn actuators which are axially loaded with the weight of the gate valve disc.

electro-hydraulic valve actuator

Normally is a self-contained electro-hydraulic valve actuation solution available for both quarter-turn and linear applications. The actuators incorporate sophisticated electronics that provide non-intrusive set-up and interrogation via an infra-red hand held remote. They are suitable for on/off, modulating and emergency shutdown du-ties in applications.

n Linear thrust output 1.7 to 5500kNn Quarter-turn torque output 65 to 600,000Nmn Single-, three-phase or 24VDC power supply optionsn Non-intrusive infrared setting & configurationn LCD display for position, pressure, diagnostics and fault indicationn Optional bus communications via all major protocolsn Partial stroke test capabilityn Watertight or explosion proofn Double-sealed terminal compartmentn ATEX, FM, CSA, IEC and GOST certified

The linear actuators offer the advantages of compact size, high performance and a simple but highly reliable design. They are ideal for operating on/off and control functions of both globe and wedge gate valves. Both spring-return and double-acting configurations are available with either pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders.

n Electroless nickel-plated cylinders, chromium-plated piston rods. n Hammer blow and standard valve stem coupling designs available.

Our great challenge is to industrialize the construction with the objective of making homes and buildings for the more advanced societies.

INFRASTRuCTuRE AND INDuSTRIES

For this, we use innovative materials and techniques that deviate from the traditional concept of construction. Our engineers and architects are working to find ways to improve the process of building homes and buildings in one or more levels.

We used for this, an open building system that facilitates to maintain the creativity of the architects, so we only need to build a clever piece of reinforced con-crete, made to fit each project, equipped with excellent features and specifications. The success of this system lies in three key principles:

n  Lower costsn  Excellent quality guaranteedn  Optimization of deadlines

EXECuTION & PrOJeCTS

Concrete moulds guarantee a perfect assembly without adjustments or corrections. The industrialized building is a significant cost saving, by offering a type of building affordable with a superior perfection level than traditional housing. The work is per-formed in a clean and safe environment, free of encumbrances or scattered mate-rials and with the minimal risks of accidents. Therefore the long waiting periods to see the final work are over.

The execution time is significantly reduced, housing up to 75% which is an unquestionable improvement. This is possible due to two main reasons, one, that the main components are produced in the factory in accordance with the advanced ma-nufacturing processes and second the technical procedures used are much more studied. Walls, partitions and floors conducts fitted with pre-installed plumbing and electricity, making the construction process be simple and cleaner.

The ensemble remains secured by fast and safety systems. The buildings remain internally armed with a metallic three-dimensional structure, like a cage, that provides it with great resistance through any external impacts such as floods or earthquakes.

With this system individual house, buildings, 2 or 3 story townhouses and collective housing can be building, a high number of alternatives in the designs, with a great structural quality and adapting the final results according to the budgets.
