Call for Open Innovation
Undergraduate students of IITs can be assigned challenging research projects at an early stage so that they can complete the work by the time they graduate. As a result some projects may culminate into complete product.
The route to Open Innovation has to be Understood and Strategized in a Comprehensive manner

Country needs today (Drones are making the rounds in Asia)
Autopilots are computer software to control the aircraft. The software reads the aircraft’s current position, and then controls a Flight Control System to guide the trajectory of the aircraft.
Can be developed by our UG and PG students working in “Controls”in CSE, EEE and ME Departments

Education is
cultivation of four main
axioms
Knowledge (not to
instruct but to impart it)
Love (love for
humanity)
Beauty (beauty is in
the eye of man to see every
child beautiful
Power (to empower
with intellect)
The main functions of education can be summarized as follows.
To bring out the real man in oneself
To build the power of the human mind and spirit i.e.evoking of knowledge, character and culture
To enable the individual to establish a clear continuity between the past, present and future.
To enable the individual to establish right relationship within himself and outside-world.
True education, is not only spiritual but also rational, vital and physical.
Education to be complete must have five principal aspects relating to the five principal activities of human being:
1. physical
2. vital
3. mental
4. psychic
5. Spiritual
This education is completecomplimentary to each otherand continued till the end oflife
Meditation is an act to concentrate mind on a single train of ideas which work out a single subject.
The first internal conditionnecessary is concentration of the will against the obstacles to meditation.
The second is to be free from all disturbing reactions such as anger, grief, depression, anxiety etc
The object of an integral yoga is self perfection

Nature has identified the top ten institutions by comparing the
citation rates in Elsevier’s Scopus database for Indian institutions.
IIT Guwahati has citation impact of 1.07 with 3,700 papers in
Elsevier's database for the said years.
With the evolution of 4i-Lab and the Centre for Creativity IITG will be
able to integrate the entire student community with the system. Indian
Society today needs involvement of all stake holders in all the
developmental endeavors.
