Equipment Rental, SAKHALIN ISLANDS (RUSSIA) Anchor Industries rented a Mooring/Station Keeping System to a leading upstream oil and gas provider. The system was assembled from high-holding capacity anchors that connect to mooring chains and steel wire rope. This project consisted of 485T of equipment including 5 x 25T Stevshark Anchors, 1600m x 76mm Stud Link Chain and Buoys. provider. Stud Link Mooring Chain, MOSSEL BAY (SOUTH AFRICA) Anchor Industries supplied an international drilling company with 1520m x 77mm Stud Link Chain, in two pieces of 1370m and 150m. The 1370m chain was shipped to Durban and then Mossel Bay, a logistical challenge as the 200T chain proved diffi cult to transport. As it could not be offl oaded in Mossel Bay, the chain was transported to Cape Town and thereafter shipped directly to the rig in Mossel Bay.
