Retirement of Ms Padmini (22 Feb) and Mr Edward Heng (10 Mar)
• After 24 years of service, Operation Support staff member, Ms Padmini, retired on 22 February. Known for her helpful and kind ways, Ms Mini was presented with cards, flowers and well wishes on her last day. Seen here in the picture with Mr Edward Heng (GP), Mini was all smiles as Mr Heng gave her a card. She reciprocated by surprising him with a peck on his cheek!
• Mr Edward Heng (GP) retired after 36 years of service. He was presented with an apron and a pair of gloves by the English Department as he has resolved to pick up culinary skills upon retirement. Edward has this piece of advice for younger officers: “Be adaptable and stay flexible. When you’re faced with any task, start early - do it systematically and anticipate challenges that you may face.” We wish Edward all the best as he begins a new phase in his life.
