But when it comes down to it, all Knowledge Management is about is recognising that knowledge is important to what we do.

Knowledge is important to organisations, to groups and to individuals and managers should concern themselves with it.

Like other views of organisations, Knowledge Management provides an important perspective which doesn’t replace anything else, but which opens our eyes to new possibilities for improvement and for becoming more productive, competitive and/or accountable.
