Welcome, Renovate ECC!On January 22, leaders from four Denver areachurches gathered in Parker, CO, to celebratethe start of Renovate, the MWC's newest churchplant. Copastors Greg and Susan Russell havea long history of ministry in nearby Aurora andwere introduced to the Covenant last summerthrough a “Get to know the ECC” gathering atAurora Community Covenant Church.
The Russells are joined by a committed launch team of over 40 adults. Theirmission is to live the story of Jesus: to do the things He did and to do the thingsHe told us to do, and to teach others to do the same. They are planning tolaunch Sunday morning worship this spring. Greg is a gifted musician and songwriter. To learn more about Renovate, or tolisten to their original music, visit renovatenow.org. New Life Covenant in Wichita, KS,began weekly worship on January22 after their original LaunchSunday was iced out the previousweek. The church has a dedicatedlaunch team that is focused oninviting others to join them inworship. They have also beenactive in their community, assisting individuals with needs and activelyministering to refugees. We thank you for your prayers and support inlaunching this new church plant and ask that you would continue to pray for thegrowth of its ministry in the weeks and months to come.

This spring, the ECC is excited to introduce the BLESS initiative, a newapproach to prayer and evangelism that includes five simple practices. Prayerand Evangelism Sunday is scheduled for Sunday, March 19; however, weencourage your church to select a Sunday in March that works best for you toidentify those in your spheres of influence that God is calling you to BLESS. Be sure to send completed BLESS forms with your delegates to the AnnualMinistry Celebration in April so that we may pray over these names as aconference. Click here to learn more about the BLESS initiative and to order materials foryour church. (Bulletin inserts should be ordered by March 5 to ensure deliveryin time for Prayer and Evangelism Sunday.)
