Global Innovation and Delivery.The Jetsperse family of dispersions enables inkjet ink makers to access easy to use products that allow for faster penetration into the solvent, aqueous, dye sublimation, and energy curable inkjet markets.

• Jetsperse S – A family of dispersions for use in solvent based inks, this range offers formulation flexibility. Available pre-incorporated into a resin, Jetsperse S is available in a solid form using Sun Chemical’s proprietary Predisol process. If you desire

to formulate with a liquid dispersion, these are available as well.

• Jetsperse AQ – Improve your inket formulations with a high color strength dispersion set for aqueous inkjet ink applications, featuring a self-dispersing carbon black and surfactant stabilized black, cyan, magenta, and yellow. Jetsperse AQ pigment dispersions are specifically designed for high performance aqueous inkjet inks and offer formulators the advantage of Sun Chemical’s wealth of R & D knowledge and understanding of the inkjet market.

• Jetsperse DS – A dye sublimation solution for the expanding digital textile market, Jetsperse DS dye sublimation dispersions work effectively across a range of polyester-based substrates. They can be used in direct to polyester fabric, transfer sublimation from paper to polyester fabric and a variety of other polyester coated substrates.

• Jetsperse UV – A range of dispersions for energy curable inkjet that allow inkjet formulators to make energy curable inkjet inks with higher optical density, achieved through higher pigment loading, and still remain in a printable viscosity range of 5 to 15 cps. Choose Jetsperse UV dispersions to maximize your color strength and minimize printer down time with highly stable energy curable inkjet formulations.

Pigment Dispersions for Solvent InkjetSun Chemical Performance Pigments has two offerings for the formulator needing a pigment dispersion product line for use in the formulation of solvent inkjet inks. The solvent inkjet dispersion products exhibit excellent printhead stability and maintain excellent filtration and viscosity properties. All colors have an average particle size that meets or exceeds the formulators’ needs for solvent inkjet, with most of the range having an average particle size below 200 nanometers. Inks formulated with Jetsperse S dispersions have dependable filterability and a narrow particle size distribution.

Jetsperse Liquid DispersionsUsing industry standard solvents to assure comfort to the formulator and compatibility with other formulations, Sun Chemical’s liquid dispersions will provide the right solvent to dissolve the resins and enable the proper “bite” into vinyl substrates. Familiar pigment Colour Indexes are used, per the chart below, but ask Sun how we may offer Solutions, Tailor-Made.

7Jetsperse S Dispersions

Jetsperse Solid DispersionsJetsperse vinyl Predisols are pigment preparations in a granule form, finely pre-dispersed in vinyl resin. They require no further grinding. All the pigments are specially selected to meet the requirements for use in outdoor applications with proven weather fastness. Pigment particles are optimally wetted, allowing development of the maximum color intensity and transparency of the base pigment.

offers nano-particle dispersions which play a key role in maintaining long term ink stability. Making

inkjet inks that filter well is easily achieved with Jetsperse AQ dispersions.

The set is comprised of a cyan PB15:3, two yellows PY155 and PY74, a mixed crystal magenta combining PR202 and V19, a mageta PR122 and two black dispersions. The set is based on the same dispersant system to allow for fully optimized and compatible inkjet inks.

Dispersed Dyes for Dye SublimationSun Chemical Performance Pigments is pleased to offer the digital textile market technically advanced dye sublimation dispersions which are designed to make formulating dye sublimation inks that will exceed ink makers’ expectations for both color and vibrancy in process color printing. Our dispersions can be used in a wide variety of consumer product applications, in particular the apparel and soft signage markets.

Delivering qualityOur dye sublimation dispersions are designed to work effectively across a range of substrates, with demonstrated success printing on polyester fabrics for textile printing, polyester coated glass, ceramics and polyester coated metal surfaces. The Jetsperse DS dispersion line is manufactured to be highly stable and exhibit Newtonian properties, which will yield Newtonian inkjet inks. This feature will ensure that an ink maker’s final formulation will withstand the higher printhead pressures and higher speeds being introduced by the digital textile markets’ newer printing presses.

Pigment Dispersions for Energy Curable Inkjet InksSun Chemical Performance Pigments is now offering a pigment dispersion product line for use in the formulation of energy curable inkjet inks. The UV inkjet dispersion products exhibit excellent printhead stability. All colors have an average particle size less than 200 nanometers and a narrow particle size distribution. Inks formulated with Jetsperse UV dispersions have dependable filterability and are rheologically stable.
