Impact Cheerleading State Championships. The Fellowship of
Christian Cheerleaders will be holding the Georgia State
Championships at the Macon Coliseum on Saturday, December 13th. All
four FBC teams will be participating. Our Impact Cheerleading teams
will also be competing in the Impact National Championships in
Orlando on January 3rd. Upward Basketball and Cheerleading.
Practices began in November and will continue through Thursday,
December 18th. Games will be played on Saturday December 6th, 13th
and 20th. There will be no activities from December 22nd through
January 4th. Practices will resume on Monday, January 5th and games
on January 10th. Upward Baseball and Softball. Our next season of
Baseball, T Ball and Softball will begin in March. All practices
and games will be at Beulah Ruritan Park on McKown Rd. Registration
will begin soon but will be limited in each division. Boys and
girls age 4 through the 8th grade may participate. Bro-chures can
be found at the Welcome Center, Information Center and the Family
Life Center. You may also download a registration form on the
recreation web site at www.fbcdouglasvillerec.org. Divisions/Teams
are planned to be formed as follows: T ball Boys and Girls Ages 4 –
5 Coach pitch Baseball Boys Grades 1 – 2
Modified Kid Pitch Baseball Boys Grades 3 – 4 Kid Pitch Baseball
Boys Grades 5- 8 Kid Pitch Softball Girls Grades 2-8 The early
registration fee is $85 (which includes post game snacks) and will
be accepted on a first paid basis. Player sizing and evaluations
are scheduled for Feb 21st. If you are interested in coaching or
need additional information, contact Mark Cagiano at the church
office.
