    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

    1. WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?Please make special note of the following points while preparing your poster. Ensure that you print your slot & Poster number in the top 4x 4 Right-hand corner of your

    poster (for exampleA26) Be sure to put yourOrganization logo on the upper Left corner and the

    Project Heading in between the logo and Poster Number.

    The size of the poster should be 5 feet tall by 3 feet wide (Portrait Orientation). Any deviationfrom any of these will lead to immediate disqualification of your entry.

    2. HOW WILL I KNOW MY POSTER NUMBER AND DETAILS OF MY SLOT?You will be emailed a document which will have details of your slot and poster number in a day or two. Youwill be allotted to one of the following three batches:

    Batch Slot Date Reporting Time

    A Day 1 Afternoon Slot 1st

    March 2013 12.30 PM

    B Day 2 Morning Slot 2n

    March 2013 8.00 AM

    C Day 2 Afternoon Slot 2n

    March 2013 11.30 AM

    Every poster number will be assigned a board and you are requested to come early to setup your posters and

    complete all pre arrangements well in time. Please be on time. Students need to be ready with their Posters

    for exhibition before the judges arrive

    3. BY WHEN SHOULD WE SUBMIT OUR POSTERS AND REPORT? HOW TOSUBMIT SOFT COPY?

    POSTERPlease submit a soft copy of your posters [email protected] 26th February 2013 EOD with

    Subject line as _ (Example: A26_ABCNgo). Also put your posters for

    printing 2 to 3 days in advance to avoid any last minute emergencies.

    While submitting the soft copy of your poster, please take care of the following:

    The format of the file must be .jpg and the size must not exceed 10 MB. The name of the File must be __ (example:

    A26_ABCNgo_LivingWithDisability)

    REPORT Final Project Report needs to be submitted on 27th February 2013 EOD to the following addresses

    4. FROM WHERE CAN I GET MY POSTER PRINTED?Most of the Stationary and Printing Shops in the Vile Parle (West) area provide flex printing services. We are

    in the process of having talks with NM Stationary which right outside our college for better deal and

    discount. Once we get confirmation from them, we will be informing you accordingly.

    The expenses of the poster printing have to be borne by the students and WE CARE TEAM will not

    reimburse the cost for printing. Please make sure you give your poster for printing at least 2 days in

    advance to avoid any last moment delays.

    5. ARE ALL THE TEAM MEMBERS REQUIRED TO BE PRESENT FOR THEPRESENTATION?

    Yes, it is mandatory for every student to report for the event as per the attendance as per the attendance

    policy of the institute

    6. WHAT SHOULD THE POSTER BE ABOUT?The poster should showcase your learning and contributions at your respective NGOs. Remember, that this isnot a presentation about your NGO but about your project. However, the poster can contain very concise

    information about the NGO and its work if required.

    7. CAN I PAINT OR SKETCH MY POSTER?No, the posters must be in Flex Printing and will be pinned to wooden boards for display. Make sure your

    poster is of sufficient resolution so that it does not get pixilated when printing on a large poster.

    As a tip, preset your canvas size to 5 X 3 inches before you start working on your poster.

    8. WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE EVENT?The dress code of the event is strictly formals. Blazers are not mandatory.

    9. WHO WILL BE JUDGING THE EVENT?We have invited 45 to 50 eminent personalities from the Industry, Social Sector and Government

    Organizations for judging the poster presentation.
