*Uses little cards that students can hold up in a certain

position to exhibit a certain response. Each card is

unique, so students will not be able to see each other’s

answers. This could be used in any class, and requires

only that the teacher has a device with a camera. The

teacher can see right away who has the right and wrong

answers, but does not have to write them down, as the

computer saves the answers to view later.

Quiziz

An online source that allows students to be actively

engaged using a device (phone, iPad, computer, etc).

Teachers have the opportunity to either make their own

survey/quiz, or to share with others that are registered.

Students answer directly from their device, and teachers

can monitor progress and compare results by

downloading them into excel. It is very interactive, and

can be effective to either introduce, explore, or

summarize any given topic.
