Urban Green Design is formed by a team of experts in various fields: architecture, engineering, agricultural engineering, biology and visual design, among others, with high professional skills, industry experience and a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

Due to the market needs and the continuous evolution and innovation in key areas such assustainability, economics, mobility and green building, smart cities are emerging and evolving. This development occurs throughout the world in different areas: smart economy, smart mobility, smart people, smart living, smart governance and smart environment. Urban Green Design focuses on the smart environment and that is why we want to contribute to the new smart cities making them more sustainable with all kind of efficient surfaces, with low maintenance and which bring the benefits of nature to the urban environment..

We work both locally and worldwide exporting our products and services where needed.Whether for personal projects or for growing cities and towns interested in being a reference in smart environment, or to cities in full conversion to smart city. Urban Green Design has no boundaries, with the technology we have developed can reach everywhere.

Efficiency, sustainability, ecology.

These terms are always related to the green but sometimes we forget that some green may not be sustainable: we plant species without considering the latitude, altitude or whether or not they get sun, then we have to constantly water and fertilize and then, the terms efficiency, sustainability and ecology are put into crisis. Plants, as we know, absorb CO and emit oxygen through photosynthesis, but, furthermore, and most importantly, they are also anti-pollution filters due to irregular structure of the surface vegetation: a major irregularity greater uptake of fine particles.

Here are some of the benefits of plant species:

/ Reduction of the thermal load of buildings up to 5 ° C, i.e. lower costs of heating and cooling.This equates to a savings of up to € 500/m2/year (Akira Hoyano, Tokyo Institute of Technology)

/ Low water consumption in case of use of species with low water requirements and / or installation of closed circuit.

/ Dust Holding Capacity: 1m2 of vegetation cover catches 130gr. / year according to the study of Darlington in 2001.

/ Heavy metal retention capacity: 60m2 of plant cover retains and processes 15kg. / year according to the study of Darlington in 2001.

/ Capture CO2 and produce o2: 1m2 of vegetation cover generates the necessary oxygen for a person for a year.

/ Filtering capacity of harmful gases: 60m2 filter 40Tn / year according to study Wolverton 1989. / Comfort and production are increased and inconveniences to people reduced to those who have vegetation in their workplace according to the study Lohr et al. 1996 Bringslima-rk, et al. 2007. Also, in closed environments, reduces physical discomfort such as skin mois-ture, dry air, exhaustion, etc; in addition to the positive psychological effects for humans.
