We are taking our show on the road! Great theater! Great food!

Great parking! A great time!

in collaboration with

Greater tuna: Dinner theaterSept 8 & 9 at 6:30 PM | Sept 10 at 12:30 PM

In collaboration with Chow Down Catering, we will provide dinner and a show

at Chow Down’s location in Huntsburg! Presenting a buffet dinner and the hilarious show Greater Tuna!

Tickets: $25Call 440-286-2255 for tickets and more information.

What do Arles Struvie, Thurston Wheelis, Aunt Pearl, Petey Fisk, Phineas Blye and the

Reverend Spikes all have in common? They are your favorite, upstanding citizens from the “third smallest town in Texas.” In Tuna, Texas the Lions Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. As the citizens of Tuna parade across the stage in all their outrageous

and irreverent glory, this eccentric gathering of oddball characters is guaranteed to make you laugh until your sides split.

Snowbelt Musical Arts Association 11595 Hosford Rd.

Chardon, OH 44024 440-296-9610

www.snowbeltmusical.org [email protected]

Dear Supporter of the Arts: The Snowbelt Musical Arts Association is a brand new 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created to bring more live music to the Snowbelt region of Northeast Ohio. We provide opportunities for local people of all ages to participate in musical activities, both as performers and listeners. Our Lake Effect Concert Band has already given nearly 100 adults a place to make music together and our Blizzard Youth Winds kept 93 middle and high school students playing their instruments this summer. Our first three concerts, presented free to the community, had a combined audience of over 1,000 enthusiastic listeners! The Lake Effect Concert Band will be presenting a series of four concerts in this inaugural 2017-2018 season, bringing a variety of classic and pop music to audiences in Lake and Geauga counties. These family-friendly concerts will be held in October, December, March, and May at various locations. In order to put on these concerts and keep them free for our audiences, we must raise all of the money needed to cover rehearsal and concert space rentals, insurance, sheet music, instruments, equipment, promotion, guest artist and conductor fees, etc. We would also like to be able to expand our offerings to include more performing ensembles and educational opportunities for adults and children. This is why we would like to invite you to promote your business with us. Advertising in our concert program booklets will provide your business or organization with exposure to a cultured target market of Lake and Geauga County residents, while supporting the Snowbelt Musical Arts Association in fulfilling its mission. A large percentage of our audience comes from the communities of Chardon, Chesterland, Concord, Madison, Mentor, Painesville, and Perry. Enclosed is an Advertising Agreement form with all the details you need to become one of our advertisers. Diane Gotliebowski, our program advertising representative, will be happy to assist you and answer any questions you may have. She can be reached by email at [email protected], or by phone at 440-223-5953. If you would like to show even more support for the arts locally, please consider partnering with us as a season ($2,000), concert ($1,000), or principal ($750) sponsor. Please contact me by email at snowbeltmusical@gmail, or by phone at 440-296-9610 for more details. Season, concert, and principal sponsors receive ad placement in our program booklets and on our website, plus additional benefits. For more information about the Snowbelt Musical Arts Association, its mission, programs, and concert schedules, please visit our website at www.snowbeltmusical.org. We look forward to seeing your business in our next concert program and seeing you at our next concert on October 15 at the Sisters of Notre Dame in Chardon! Thank you for your support! The attorneys of Gertsburg Law have a comprehensive understanding of the countless legal

issues facing businesses on a daily basis. In order to share our knowledge with the community,

we publish weekly blog articles that explain and elaborate on issues relevant to business owners.

Here are some of the articles available on our blog this month:

Unilever Said “Yes” to the Robot Overloads – And Business May be Better for It It’s the classic dilemma: How do you attract potential hires to your company that are not only

bright, educated, energetic and ready to work, but who also have that little something “extra” that

makes your company what it is? Today’s business culture is shifting, and finding the right mix of

Baby Boomers, Gen-Xers, and Millennials can be challenging. Perhaps that’s why Unilever

decided to delegate the task of choosing new hires to artificial intelligence software.

How Conducting an Employee Performance Improvement Plan Properly Will Make

You a Better Manager From an employee’s perspective who may not be doing the job to his or her greatest potential, a

Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) often means the first step in being fired. From the

perspective of a manager, it presents an opportunity to give that employee another chance to be

successful, and make meaningful improvements. Unfortunately, many companies handle PIPs

the wrong way. In this article, we will look at how a PIP can be effective in turning around an

employee’s performance, if that is the outcome that both employee and manager want to see.

Jobs or Horses? Understanding Eminent Domain in the Face of the Nexus Pipeline Property disputes, generally speaking, are not “exciting” news. They can be challenging, and

often require quite a bit of paperwork and documentation, but in the end, both parties reach a

resolution, and the world moves on. When one of those parties is the US government, however, a

simple property dispute can become anything but.

US Job Growth and the Upcoming NAFTA Renegotiations – A Tale of Two Trumps Long ago, in an era far away (re: 1992), a political consultant named James Carville hung a sign

in the campaign headquarters of an upstart politician named Bill Clinton. That sign had three

points: (1) Change vs. more of the same, (2) The economy, stupid, and (3) Don’t forget health

care. Twenty-five years later, and the country is still obsessed with number two.

To learn more about the services of Gertsburg Law, call us today at 440-571-7777 or complete

businesses of all sizes.

Take Advantage of a Major Chardon Area Chamber Benefit with

Lower Cost Health Care through Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield

Great things often start with a simple idea, like connecting the dots. That’s what our Whole Health

ConnectionSM approach to health care is all about.

How it works. We connect the dots in health care — medical, drug, dental, vision, life and disability.

Each time a member sees a doctor or dentist or fills a prescription, it’s like a dot on a page.

Connecting all those dots gives us the bigger picture — a more complete health profile of the whole

person.

Doctors and other caregivers can easily share this information with each other. And seeing the

bigger picture early on can help doctors catch chronic diseases like diabetes, cancer or heart

disease earlier. And catching diseases early can mean earlier treatments and better results.

How it saves. Connecting the dots gives better data, better insights and better outcomes.

Up to 74% lower medical costs and fewer hospital stays, when patients who have chronic

disease or are pregnant treat their periodontal disease1

$8,000 in medical costs savings for members with a connected medical and disability plan2

More than 26,000 diabetics identified earlier through yearly routine eye exams3

How it can work for you

When you add dental, vision, life or disability to our medical benefits, you get improved health care

for your employees and cost savings for your business. That’s because we connect member health

records, claims and clinical data to help make sure they get better care with greater insight.

See how our products work together for a bigger, more holistic view of health care. Or talk to your

Anthem sales rep.
