English Language ProgramAttending college in a foreign country can be intimidating. That’s why we’re with you every step of the way. Murray State’s English as a Language (ESL) Program provides personalized attention from instructors across 20 class hours per week at six proficiency levels. Each level is eight weeks in length and is offered throughout the year with new terms beginning in January, March, June, August and October.

There are many opportunities to practice spoken English with Americans outside the classroom. In addition, you will also have opportunities to visit nearby cities to learn more about American culture. After successfully completing the ESL program, students progress to university degree programs.
