On behalf of our society, it is a great pleasure to invite you to the 19th Emirates Society Mental Health International Congress, which will take place on a virtual platform on October 1-3, 2020, under the slogan of “Mental Health & COVID-19”.
This period of isolation, anxiety, instability and uncertainty with the current pandemic has affected us in many different ways, and we are left to cope with navigating the new normal. But undeniably, it has taken a toll on our collective mental well-being.
In light of this, it is important that the 2020 edition highlights the issues that affect mental health in these unprecedented times.
In this virtual congress, our international, regional and local experts will guide you through the mental health-related risks and impact, discuss the current response and updates, and tackle the latest research and management strategies of new and pre-existing mental health conditions in the COVID-19 era. The congress will also give light to topics that are timely and relevant to the region to promote better psychiatric practice.
Your safety is our utmost priority, so we’re bringing this rich educational experience directly to your screens. We hope that you could join us live and participate in this online space we prepared for you.
Sincerely,
