Whole Cities Foundation will accept requests for funding between $5,000 and $30,000 for one-year grants and up to $60,000 for two-year grants. Applications open on July 27, 2015, and letter of interest forms are to be submitted by Aug. 28, 2015. To be considered, local nonprofits must complete a letter of interest form, which can be downloaded from the Whole Cities Foundation website (https://www.wholecitiesfoundation.org/communities-we- serve/jackson-ms). Submissions should be sent via email to [email protected]. First consideration will be given to applicants who meet certain criteria, which can be found on the foundation’s website. Following a review of letter of interest forms, qualified candidates will be asked to submit a full application and project budget form by Sept. 25, 2015. Whole Cities Foundation aims to increase access to fresh, healthy food through collaborative partnerships with organizations that are positively impacting the health of the communities they serve. Partnerships focus on three main activities: fresh food access, community health, and healthy eating education. ### Launched in February 2014, Whole Cities Foundation is the third independent nonprofit foundation established by Whole Foods Market. Our mission is to improve individual and community health through collaborative partnerships, education, and broader access to nutritious food in the communities we serve. Whole Cities Foundation to offer up to $75,000 in fresh, healthy food access grants

JACKSON, MS – Whole Cities Foundation invites nonprofits in the greater Jackson area to apply for
