Would you let your children play here?
Does this space look inviting and safe?
Do you think this play area promotes
local children's cognitive, emotional,
physical, and social development?
Project Millennium Green – is a
voluntary group of local residents,
made up of professionals and
concerned parents.
Community Consultation
8 – 10 % of the local community
contributed with support
from Local Business, NHS Health Visiting
Services, Political Parties, Charities and
the Council.
* Detailed results of the consultation are
available on request, and will be

What we want…..
• Short term: • Daily litter pick before 10am • Reinstate the notice board with a group member as key
holder. • Build on dialogue with council. • Improve lighting, sight lines and monitoring.
• Long term: • A refurbished play area to design out anti-social behaviour
as much as possible and create a play area that complies with best practice, especially important as a deprived area socially as well as in terms of open space
Thank you for your time
