LIGHT BACKGROUND
PATTERNED OR PHOTOGRAPHIC BACKGROUND
If you are using the WBE Seal over a non-standard background color or texture, choose the approved Seal application that provides the best contrast and readability. When you are using the Seal as a positive image, light toned backgrounds are preferable.
When you must use the Seal on a patterned background or photo image, contrast and readability should again be your overriding concern. The tone of the image will determine whether to use a positive or negative Seal.
DARK BACKGROUND
If you are reverse printing on black, you can use the color reverse version of the full color Seal. On any other dark color, the full reverse (white) version of the Seal should be used to maintain adequate contrast and readablility.

The primary Women Owned Logo is the most commonly used logo. It is used on most litho-printed packaging.
When reproducing or adding this to your materials, for consistency and legibility, use only the approved ink colors listed on page 16.
Clear space is used to ensure that the Women Owned
Logo has a comfortable amount of space to separate it
from other type and graphic elements. This breathing
room adds visual weight and prominence.
The clear space guidelines should be used wherever
possible. Exceptions may occur in cases where space is
very limited.
The Logo must be enlarged or reduced in its entirety.
All elements of the Logo must remain in proportion
to one another. (“Scale Strokes & Effects” should be

As a WBENC-Certified WBE you are eligible to use both the WBE Seal and the Women Owned Logo.
The WBE Seal is an official graphic that indicates that a business is a WBENC-Certified WBE. We recommend you use the
WBE Seal on any marketing materials that will be seen by a potential client or contact who works in procurement or supplier diversity. For example, you may choose to include the WBE Seal in an RFP response to a Corporate Member.
The Women Owned Logo is designed to be consumer-facing. We recommend you use the Women Owned Logo on marketing
materials and products targeting general consumers who may not be aware of certification. For example, you may choose to include the Women Owned Logo on product labels, as well as your website or storefront.
