General Instructions

Making the Felt Board Pieces

1. Print pattern pages. No need to duplicate, enlarge or reduce. 2. Bubble-cut around the edge of each pattern piece, close to the lines but not on the

cutting lines. 3. Arrange the pattern pieces on the felt squares. Use sticky tape to secure each pattern

piece onto the felt. Place the tape around the edges of each pattern piece and over any sections you will need to cut out. The sticky tape stops the patterns from slipping around and results in very precisely cut lines.

4. Trim excess felt from around each pattern piece so that it is easier to manoeuvre the felt and

get to the fiddly bits when cutting. 5. Cut along the pattern line, cutting through the tape, the paper pattern and the felt simultaneously. This will be a bit hard on your scissors but the results are worth it.

6. Follow the step-by-step assembly instructions provided.

To make the rhyme card

1. Print rhyme card using the template provided onto A4 printer paper. 2. Fold rhyme card page in half. 3. Enclose rhyme card into a 125 micron A6 laminating pouch. 4. Laminate
