Use the wax resist technique to creatively design a dinosaur usingdifferent types of colouring stationary.Develop skills in colour, pattern and texture.Explore ideas and record their experiences.
To create a wax resist picture, first apply the BICKIDS® PLASTIDECOR Crayons and then colourover the top with either BICKIDS® Visa® Felt Tip Pens or BICKIDS® ecolutions®EVOLUTION® Pencils. Try using all three to create the picture like the example below.
PlanAsk the pupils to design the skin pattern fortheir dinosaur. Use the boxes on the plan tocreate different styles and pattens.
ColourColour in the dinosaur using the plan as a guide.
