Conference Information
The conference site is located on KIT South Campus (KIT Campus Süd) in central Karlsruhe. Thecampus is located to the east of the palace (Karlsruher Schloss) and can be conveniently reached by manytram lines. Closeby tram stops are Kronenplatz, Kronenplatz/Fritz-Erler-Straße or Durlacher-Tor/KITCampus-Süd (all located near the bottom on the map to the left).All conference activities take place in two buildings:
Kollegiengebäude Mathematik 20.30: Registration, and coffee breaks take place in the lobby of ournewly renovated mathematical sciences building. The minisymposia and contributed sessions takeplace in seminar rooms SR -1.025, SR 0.014, SR 0.019, SR 1.067, SR 2.066 and SR 2.067 in thisbuilding.
Architecture Building 20.40: All plenary sessions take place in the Fritz-Haller Auditorium in building20.40. Enter through the main entrance (diagonally across the street from the Math Building). Theentrance to the auditorium is on the other side of the lobby.
All conference rooms have video projectors and we provide laptops in each room, so that participants cancopy their presentations there in the breaks before their session. The use of your own laptop is possible,however we urgently advise to test the connection well in advance. The video projectors were installedjust a few weeks prior to the conference and have been found not to work reliably with all laptops.The conference desk will be staffed all week to help you with any queries regarding the conference or anyrelated issues. You can also approach one of the members of the local organizing committee.
Registration
Registration will take place in the lobby of the Mathematical Sciences building and will start on Monday,20 July, at 8am. The conference desk will be staffed all week to carry out registration of late arrivals.However, credit card payments for open items will only be possible on Monday, 20 July. On other days,open items will have to be paid for in cash.
Internet
Wifi is avaible throughout all KIT buildings. Users can login into the EDUROAM network with credentialsfrom their home institutions if available. We also have prepared a number of guest accounts for the KITWifi network. Such an account can be obtained from the conference desk.

Social Program
Excursions
All excursions take place on Wednesday afternoon of the conference week.Busses for the Hike or the Trip to Speyer leave at 14:00. Please be on time. The bus stop is located atEngesser-Straße/Paulke-Platz as indicated on the map.The trip to ZKM will be made in several small groups, as we will travel to the museum by tram. Thegroups will meet on Ehrenplatz at the statue of Athena. We will publish lists with the meeting times atthe conference desk.
Conference Dinner
The conference dinner takes place at the Kühler Krug Restaurant and Brewery. We recommend to travelto the venue by tram. Take Tram Line 5 from either KIT/Campus Süd or Kronenplatz/Fritz-Erler-Straßeand alight at Kühler Krug.The link https://goo.gl/maps/jk8fg takes you to a map showing the way from the tram station tothe restaurant. This map is also embedded in the conference website on the page on Lunch Breaks /Dinner.
Practical Information
Public Transport
The conference badge is valid as a travel pass on the Karlsruhe public transport system (Tramsand busses within the city limits) from Monday to Friday of the conference week. Karlsruhe has a veryconvient tram system with frequent trains on all lines. Unfortunately, due to ongoing construction worksthroughout the city, there are detours on several lines. If in doubt, check with the conference desk wherewe will have up to date information available.We also recommend to use the tram to travel to the venue for the conference dinner.
Lunches
The conference fee does not include any lunches. We have compiled a list of recommended restaurants,pubs or fast food venues for your convenience.You can find a map with the locations of these places via the conference web site on the page on LunchBreaks / Dinner.
