UVI Soundsource and WaveFrame Software Group are proud to introduce thefirst sound collection dedicated to the mythical sampler, the Audioframe.

Back in the 80s, the WaveFrame Audioframe was the second generation ofhuge samplers like the Synclavier from New England Digital and theAustralian Fairlight CMI. A complete 48 voice system sold for over$100,000.00 and at the time, the sound and feature set were worth it! That'swhy it was used by renowned artists and producers such as Peter Gabriel(credited on the LP "US") and Stevie Wonder, and also in the film industry forsound design, foley and ADR.

The UVI Soundpack WaveFrame Sound Collection is going in the completeopposite direction of the current trend for sound libraries. The set doesn'tcontain dozens of GB, nor even 1 GB; it weighs in at an impressive 350 Mb(yes Mb not GB) for more than 150 expertly handcrafted presets using morethan 1400 meticulously recorded 16 bit / 44.1 kHz samples. All instrumentshave been imported from the original Audioframe Version H sound library, andremain true to the originals.

But as you can hear in the audio demos, size doesn't really matter, thiscollection contains lots of very useful and truly organic sounds: Keyboards,Guitars, Basses, Solo Strings, String Sections, Upper Brass, Lower Brass,Brass Sections, Woodwinds, Synths, Pacific Rim, Percussion, Drums, Effectsand TestTones.

This collection brings you not only excellent quality, "bread and butter"sounds, but also a milestone in the musical history where new technologiesinjected a special soul into the music...with a special mention to the acousticinstruments that sound just amazing regarding the size they use.
