The Aquamarine range of Reverse Osmosis systems is a comprehensive range of standard and customised products operating on the well-known process of Reverse Osmosis which has been under constant de-velopment since the first experimen-tal systems were introduced in the 1950’s. In general terms the process is a “reverse process” based on the natural osmotic pressure difference between two salt solutions on either side of a membrane, in which me-chanical pressure is applied to the side with higher.
The membranes through which the salt passes at relatively high pres-sure are a vital part of the system, separating the fresh water from the “salty” or undesired water.
All Aquamarine systems use high quality “thin film composite” spiral wound membranes.
All pumps and instrumentation is of top quality which is vital to ensure re-liability and long service life, with a minimum of maintenance required.
Unit Design
• Frame: Mild steel epoxy coated mounting bracket. • Pre filtration: 20 and 5 micron pre filters for the removal of suspended solids. Activated carbon block for the removal of chlorine. • Pressure switches: low pressure on feed, high pressure on brine concentrate. • Pressure pump: 24V AC booster pump with transformer. • Membrane: 1812 – 50gal • Post Membrane: taste and odour re moval inline GAC. • Storage tank: 3.2Gal• Faucet: ACF-04 elegant faucet. • Other: Installation kit, auto-shut off valve, quick connect push in fitting, waste fitting, 6mm pipe work
