The shortage in the supply of fresh water of haunting problems, both is time and place. Today’s getting this problem before, the increased demand for fresh water. And the rise of many voices, here and there, warning of inadequate fresh water, due to lower global stock of it. However, the amount of water was and will remain the same as the amount of water itself, which existed on the surface of the earth before, and re-use times after times, through the water cycle in nature.

The amount of water above the ground, enough for all needs, however, this amount is not evenly distributed. There are some areas suffering from drought, while other areas of all sources of fresh water from rain and rivers and lakes. It is no secret that a man had made himself the problem of water in some areas, poor use of natural water sources.

Different countries in the world are in terms of its share of the fresh water on Earth, with an estimated share of each country, including experiencing the rain. The State like England is receiving a great deal of rain water year after year. So, wealth of multiple freshwater, rivers, lakes and groundwater stores. While a country like Saudi Arabia, receives little rainfall, making it one of the poorest countries in the sources of fresh water.

The quantities of heavy rain on the globe, but this precipitation are uneven. If this amount of rain precipitation evenly on the globe, for all regions received a quantity of water, nearly 86 cm per year. In general, the most populous regions of the world populated by enough rain falls each year, such as Europe and South East Asia, and Eastern United States, India, and China.

But more than half of the land, dry areas do not drop it rarely rains, like the majority of Asia, and Central Australia, and most of North Africa, the Middle East. These areas suffer from a continuing shortage of water resources, as a result of experiencing what little rain water. Added to this, that some areas with sufficient resources from the rain may be exposed in some years, or seasons, to a severe lack of rain, which exposes them to risks of water shortages and drought, as happened in the eighties in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Ethiopia, and many other countries.

“Water is definitely a security problem in the region.” (Tariq.S, June 2010).

The main reason of the shortage of the waters over the world is the population growth and lack of justice in the distribution of water, citizen in North America consumes about 500 liters of water a day, and European consumes between 200 and 300 liters, while not available for African only 10 to 20 liters of water a day. In addition to widespread poverty and insufficient investment, if we didn’t do anything to solve the shortage of the water so it will lead to the desertification of many areas & a lot of poor country also people will die at the end.

In my study case I had selected The Republic of Yemen and capital is Sana, which is located in Western Asia, occupying the southwestern to southern to southern end of the Arabian Peninsula. It is bordered by Saudi Arabia to the north, the Red Sea to the west and Oman to the east.

That 85 percent of the population of Yemen's 25 million people will face more challenges in the next two decades due to the problem of water shortages. The estimation of underground water reserves available in all water basins in the country about 20 billion cubic meters. The average current consumption of water in Yemen, which reaches 3.4 billion cubic meters annually and the country, will go through a severe crisis of unprecedented water scarcity by 2025, pointing out that Yemen's per capita water represents only 3 percent of per capita water ranked globally.

Yemen from countries where there are no rivers in progress and depends entirely and the adoption of groundwater and rainwater in the first place The amount of rain in the central region 400-1100 mm in the coastal areas have more than 100 mm per year has decreased quantity in some seasons. The country depends almost entirely on about 45 thousand wells run out of water quickly.

Proposed solutions to the problem of water in Yemen and face the expected decrease of water resources in the country should be long term not for short term as the following points:-

Through proper planning, find new sources of drinking water by desalination of saline water that fills the seas; find a purification of wastewater and reuse, expansion in the creation of networks connected to safe drinking water and sewage networks.

Direction and guidance of all citizens to enable them to take advantage of the rain water that can be used in many applications.

The shortage of water will be life or death unless the access of the current state of attrition to the viable use of water and make the most of available resources economically and socially and provide water resources to the maximum amount of sectors of society and finding solutions to those elements.
