The purpose of the Water Quality Surveillance program is to monitor the drinking water quality throughout the treated and untreated water supply chain based on a routine program which is pre-designated at various strategic points, in time. In this way an overview can be obtained as to the water quality across the different systems and regions with a

installing sampling points done . These sampling points installed to take samples and check the quality of water at different stages. As a supervisor responsibilities is keep monitoring the sampling boxes and report of any damages or need for maintenance .

Amount of water to be taken from different sources for quality analysis. Care must be taken during collecting the samples to prevent anything might effect analysis results. Sample must be stored in cool box after collecting and transferring to lab. On site Tests: • pH

Laboratory Information Management System ( LIMS)

The LIMS is the tool which is used to plan all the Surveillance Sampling Program around the country, and which allow to have a good tractability for each results of analyze. It is a laboratory database composed by several tables.

PERF : A software can monitor from it the samples plan and collected samples to get an indication of the situation whether you are behind the plan samples or not . Additional to that it gives you the failures samples and other information's. As surveillance supervisor should monitor the PERF system and analyze the data of failures sample investigate and provide solutions plus do the actions. Also should justify the reasons of not achieving the plan samples.

Monitoring Online Analyzers:

All the contracted water tankers are regularly physically, chemically and microbial tested according to sampling program In case of any microbial failure the disinfection process will take place onsite

Customer Relationship Management (CRM):

Follow up the CRM software daily and check of any complaints.

Follow up the complaint and call the customer to get more details about the complaint and when it was start and inform the customer for site visit to find out the reason behind the problem
