Welcome to the 2020 USSSA All American Games hosted at USSSA Space Coast Complex! This has been a truly unique year as we have been fighting a pandemic, and for some of you, this may be your first time back on the field in months. We are honored that you have chosen USSSA and the All American Games to be part of your summer. USSSA Space Coast Complex is located on 85 acres near the coast of Florida, featuring 15 all AstroTurf fields, three championship stadiums and state-of-the-art HD video boards, covered seating and excellent concessions at every quad. The complex is a short drive from Florida's pristine beaches, shopping and restaurants to make your experience full of competition and fun.

The USSSA All American Program was created in 2015 to increase individual opportunities for fastpitch players to showcase their skills and represent their local area in a National event.

Due to the nationwide pandemic of COVID-19, we have made some modifications to this national program. Since we were unable to host the planned 20 tryouts across the country, we have opened registration up to all fastpitch athletes. During the All American Games we will be using the first day of the event for evaluations. All participants will have their fastpitch skills evaluated by top athletes and coaches. After the evaluation all participants will be placed on a team to compete on the national stage in one of the biggest USSSA events of the year.

In order to enhance the brackets and the level of play we have decided to join age groups. We will be joining the 9U and 10U age group together, the 11U and 12U age group together, and the 13U and 14U age group together. We will do our best to keep all players in their registered region however there might be a few instances that we will need to move a player or two to a different region in order to complete a roster and make sure all teams are as equal as possible.

We have tried our hardest to have a separate bracket for the “Direct Invites” however with recent restrictions because of Covid, we have lost some participants. We have made the decision to not have a separate “Direct Invite” team and bracket. We have decided to have an “All Star” game with Direct Invites and other players chosen from the Sunday evaluations. Each of the three age divisions will have 2 teams selected to play each other in a showcase game in front of the USSSA Pride game.

The USSSA All American Games kicks off on July 19th with participant check-in and evaluations. On Monday players will get to meet their coach and practice with their team. USSSA Fastpitch is excited to welcome you to the 2020 All American Games and expect this year to be as exciting as any.

Teams Teams will need to make adjustments before, during, and after games during this period. Start by being prepared by having a team supply of wipes and sanitizer. Coach players on the importance of keeping our distance while playing together.

• Entering the dugout. We ask that teams wait to enter dugouts until the previous team and equipment have exited from the game prior.

• Pregame and During Game. No team or player handshakes or high fives. No group prayers or huddles between teams on the field.

• Sunflower seeds and gum. No sunflower seeds or gum are allowed anywhere in the complex. • Plate Meeting. The managers meeting at home plate will be limited to one coach from each team plus

the umpire. No players at plate meeting. • Recommended Post Game. We suggest using other means of post game sportsmanship such as tipping

your visor, bowing or waving to the other team across the field. No handshake lines will be allowed. • PPE Items. Players and coaches are allowed to wear PPE items if they choose.

safety. You can have a maximum of three coaches in and around the dugout. We recommend only team personnel inside the dugout at all times.

• After each game, teams must clean their dugout of all trash and items. Teams are encouraged to disinfect hard surface areas (quick spray benches, bat racks, fence poles) upon entering and exiting a dugout. Please make these items part of your team equipment list, prioritize them highly, and make this courtesy a source of team pride.

• Awards Ceremony: As a National Championship, we take great pride in recognizing the accomplishments of our teams and individuals.

• Award Distribution. We ask that a team representative receives and distributes all awards for his/her team.

Players Way Assessments

Dates of testing: Monday July 20th and Wednesday July 22nd

PLAYERS WAY WILL HELP WITH EACH STAGE OF YOUR JOURNEY. Every athlete’s journey is unique, but at some point, we all realize that playing games is not enough. It takes hard work, dedication, and practice to improve. Players Way was created specifically to help young people, regardless of economics or geography, improve the full extent of their abilities and be taught by those who have proven to be the best in the world at their chosen sport. Only the best truly understand what it takes to be the best.

We also know that every journey is a little bit different. In order for athletes to reach their full potential, they need to understand their athletic and cognitive capabilities. They need to be equipped with training and insights that will help them become more skilled and drive their passion to develop. As each athlete grows older in their sport, they need to understand the mental side of every game, how to practice and prepare for the sport as it’s played at the highest levels.

Registration: Booth will be available at player check in

Cost: $99.00
