Waste to Energy & Tipping fee
2. Resistance and opposition from public and
NGOs
3. Land Availabilities in Jakarta
4. Poor waste segregation - impact in calorific
value of waste
5. People of Jakarta produce more 7000 ton of
waste per day, and increase at about 500
ton per year until now Jakarta does not
have the best solution for reduce it.
Opportunities
1. Profitable - if the right technology is
employed
2. Success in MSW treatment lead to managing
other waste business - sewage, industrial
and hazardous waste
