Residential Recycling & Refuse of Texas Introduction

Residential Recycling & Refuse of Texas, Inc. specializes in residential garbage and recycling collection throughout

Houston and surrounding areas while proudly never losing a single customer to service issues.

We bring a unique blend of customer service and efficiency to every new neighborhood we acquire. Knowing that service

is the key, we devote much of our time and resources toward doing just that, providing the A+ service that you deserve

from us. We are a family owned business and we pride ourselves on the ability to work with each community to

understand specific needs and work to provide those needs. We are committed to our customer’s complete satisfaction.

With over 30 years of experience, we can handle all your needs. At RRRT the principals of the company are on premise

every day. This means critical decisions can be acted on and implemented quickly. We are very proud of the service we

offer to our customers and continue to maintain a customer satisfaction rate of 98%.

Our drivers and helpers wear company uniforms which ensure the customer can identify them as RRRT employees when

we are in the neighborhood. Cross training is a top priority to ensure a full crew despite vacation, illness, etc.

RRRT programs offer flexible collection schedules as well as a wide selection of items that can be collected and processed

for recycling. Included in this packet is a detailed list that is distributed to all homeowners prior to start of service.

Our pricing is competitive and in most cases will be below the current rate paid by the districts. RRRT offers curbside as

well as backdoor pickup service depending on the needs of the community.

RRRT observes the following six holidays per year; New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day,

Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Curbside Refuse Service: Once per week

• Household Waste - Curbside pick-up is restricted to household garbage and is required to be within 3

feet of curb. Household garbage is defined as waste generated inside the house, this excludes any

construction or remodeling debris or any other waste defined below. Garbage containers must be in plain

sight and accessible.

• Yard Waste - Yard waste defined as leaves, grass clippings, and vegetative matter must be placed in can

or bags with a maximum weight of no more than 40 pounds, plastic bags must be designed to store

refuse with sufficient wall strength to maintain physical integrity when lifted by the top. All tree

trimmings are to be tied and bundled with no one piece greater than 3” in diameter and 4’ in length with

a maximum of forty (40) pounds per bundle and must be placed at the curbside and as close to the road

as possible without interfering with or endangering the movement of vehicles or pedestrians. This

service excludes common areas that are maintained by a private landscaping company.

• Bulk Item Service - Bulk Items such as light appliances, furniture, and other household items can be

placed curbside once per week on Saturday. One bulky item per household per week is permitted. Carpet

pieces or large rolls of carpet are acceptable but must be cut down to no longer than four feet, rolled,

secured with rope or duct tape and not weigh more than 40 pounds. We are not permitted to pick up

refrigerators, air conditioners, or any items that contain Freon or hazardous materials unless properly

tagged with CFC removal. (609 of the 1990 Clean Air Act Amendment, effective July 1, 1992.) Service

exceptions for bulk items are furniture over 50 lbs, auto parts, etc. These items may be collected

separately upon request. Party requesting service will be billed separately at a negotiated price

depending on size, quantity, and handling required to remove and dispose of such items.

• Special Collection Services/Storm Debris - For an additional fee, negotiated directly between

Residential Recycling & Refuse of Texas and the party requesting the service, we can collect unusual

waste such as light construction debris, bricks, concrete, and any hurricane or storm-related trash. The

party requesting the service must call our office to make arrangements prior to service days.

Curbside Recycling Service: Once per Week

• Household Recycling - Curbside pick-up is restricted to household garbage and is required to be within 3

feet of curb. Household recycling is defined as glass bottles and jars, plastics 1-7, thin plastic, paper,

cardboard, tin/aluminum cans (only exception is Styrofoam in the #6 category).

• Containers – Residents will be provided with one eighteen (18) gallon bin. This bin will remain the

property of Residential Recycling & Refuse of Texas and will be returned if and when contract is

terminated.

• Recycling Stickers- Stickers will be provided free of charge to any residents that are heavy recyclers.

These stickers can be placed on any personal container and our guys know to pick these containers up

for recycling. The stickers are mailed by our office to the customer’s home, after they call and place the

order.

• Recycling Reports- RRRTX provides monthly recycling reports to Board of Directors and management that show

the results in your neighborhood. These reports include the tonnage of recycling being taken out of your waste

stream, as well as the various natural resources that are saved in the process.

Additional Services

• Dumpster/Roll off Container- RRRTx will provide one (1) Dumpster/Roll Off for 4 periods where one period

equals 7 days during the 2018 calendar year. The cost for this service will be the cost charged to RRRTx by the

Roll Off company.

• Handicapped/Garage Door Collection Services- RRRTX will provide full garage door services to any elderly or

handicapped resident in your community. All your resident must do is call our office and request the special

service.

• E-Verified Employees- RRRTX sets high standards for our company as well as our employees. All employees are

background checked and E-Verified before servicing your neighborhood.

• Individual Billing: RRRTX will bill all homeowners of Roman Forest individually. The bill will be monthly and

will be billed one month in advance. RRRTX will provide quarterly reports to Management regarding number of

customers paid.

Except as otherwise provided by this Agreement, the rate of compensation shall remain effective for the term of

the Agreement. During the term of this Agreement, Contractor may experience cost increases which may occur

due to incremental increases in cost of: fuel, environmental disposal fees, local, and federal taxes or additional

fees resulting from government-imposed mandates. Contractor shall provide Customer with request for

increase detailing reason for increase. Customer will have option for approval, giving reasons if request is

rejected.
