Borjan is serving retail footwear industry of Pakistan from last two decades. It has 96 outlets in 58 cities of Pakistan and now started expansion in Middle East and opened its first outlet in Dubai. Borjan is offering essence of style, elegance and blend of fashion in formal and casual footwear. Currently I am offering services as an Asst. Manager Distribution (Gents) of Borjan Brand.

1- My Job as an Asst. Manager Distribution (Gents) is.

To maximize Company profit through the effective direction and management of all aspects of product distribution and repeat order recommendation with using latest techniques of inventory controlling. Responsible for ensuring that all products appear in the right store, at the appropriate time and in the correct quantities. To effectively lead, drive and manage the Buying and Merchandising team to achieve maximum results.

Key Duties:

Define and execute an effective buying brief for each product category that delivers range cohesion and drives the agreed sales, margin and delivery targets whilst reflecting market forces such as pricing and consumer trends.

Ensure that the product on our sales floor provides inspiration for our Customers and retail team and that the selected ranges support the Company brand essence.

Ensure that the range changes include new product launches, clearance activity, overstocks and implementation of new floor range stock are executed with careful planning and liaison with Stores, Marketing, Suppliers and Distribution ensuring that any information is distributed in a timely manner.

Ensure that product and range performance is monitored taking the appropriate action to ensure the identification and agreement on action plans to deal with best and worse sellers in order to optimize performance.

Gather information on customer’s reactions to products. Analyzing previous season’s sales and reporting on the current season’s lines. Analyzing every aspect of bestsellers i.e. price points, colors and styles and ensuring that best sellers reach

their full potential. Monitoring slow sellers, and taking action to reduce prices or set promotions as necessary. Work closely with sales, marketing and supply chain teams. Fulfill responsibility for merchandise planning, open-to-buy management, allocations, replenishments and

supply chain management. Actively travel to all outlets to get direct feedback. Reviewed daily/ weekly on hand inventory vs sales at store level to achieve maximum sales. Create new items and purchase order. Distribute, maintain and adjust purchase order when needed Forecast sales for daily business and flyer activity for every category taking into account seasonality,

market trends, and competitive promotions.

Prepaid stock buying and planning report with future gaps. Convert further gap into price point level to maintain the target price. Divided our buying at imported and local sour according to receiving trend or stock requirement. Maintain the inventory level of stock using advance inventory models. Distribution of stock in most optimal way as to maximize overall network profit. Fulfill the network demand thought new merchandising point of view. Identification fast mover and give proper repeat order for whole season. Maintain VMI in fast mover item to reduce the shortage at store level. Identification of slow moving inventory and their liquidation strategy. Inter transfer of stock for its liquidation using advance technologies of MIS.
