Chua Chu Kang Park Though you can start o anywhere on this looptrail, we recommend you use Choa Chu Kang Park asyour starting point and base. Here, public transport,a car park and toilet acilities are a stone’s throwaway. You can also easily grab a bite or stock up onyour energy needs at the ood centre nearly.

Limbang ParkOne highlight o this park is a ‘mini zoo’ – acollection o 12 Chinese Zodiac animal statues.Play a game and see i you can remember theorder o the 12 ‘animals’.

Pangsua PCPang Sua means ‘weighing sand’ in Hokkien. In theearly 1900s, there were several lorries transportingsand rom place to place.

Lorries suspected o carrying more than thestipulated weight were escorted by local authoritiesto this area or a weight test, and hence the namePang Sua. While cycling on this park connector, do look outor the rich diversity o wildlie that may crossyour path - the occasional soaring osprey, amblingmonitor lizards and uttering butteries. Listen outor the whistling sounds o the railway trains onthis stretch o the trail.

Ten Mile JunctionThe distance between this building and SouthBridge Road is exactly 10 miles, and hence, itsname “Ten Mile Junction”. This is a c onvenientstop point to reuel or stock up on supplies.

Zhenghua ParkEnjoy a 'roller-coaster' ride as you travel on theundulating terrain o this park. This part o the trailoers you a view o two contrasting landscapes– the orests o the central nature reserve on oneside, and urban development on the other.

Dairy Farm Nature ParkThis park is home to an amazing array o ora andauna. Keep a sharp lookout or birds, butteries ,dragonies, changeable lizards and other crittersalong this charming rustic stretch.

I you are a hard-core cy cling enthusiast, the park

is the perect place to hone your cycling skills.Make a detour and embark on one o the v ariouschallenging biking trails that are ound within theBukit Timah nature reserve. Do ollow the visitors’guidelines stipulated at the reserve.

Do spend some time at the Wallace EducationCentre. Here, learn about the changing landscapeso this region, or ollow the well-marked trail thatleads to a historic, abandoned quarry mine - theSingapore Quarry. At the quarry, see i you canspot rare endemic dragonies, damselies, beetles,fshes and birds, such as the kingfsher and theendangered Little Grebe.

Rail MallHead or Rail Mall i you are eeling generous thisparticular day – have a treat at any o the severalupmarket F&B outlets located there. Alternatively,drop by Singapore’s irst supermarket, ColdStorage Store, to replenish your stock o energyood or drinks.

Bukit Batok Nature Park andBukit Batok Town Park (Xiao Guilin)Cycle along Hillview Park Connector to visit twoparks that are amous or scenic views o a quarrylake. The view o towering rock clis providing a

majestic backdrop to the large lake is reminiscent o Guilin o China.

At Bukit Batok Nature Park, take the naturetrail that meanders through a well-establishedsecondary orest. Look out or interesting treesalong the trail, and make the asc ent to the top o the hill where a war memorial lies.

Choa Chu Kang PCThis park connector takes you through the publichousing residential area. Proceed southwardstowards Brickland and Choa Chu Kang Park

Connectors to get back to the starting pointo this trail.

On this last leg o the trail, look out or the avenueo star ruit trees along Brickland Park Connectorand the manicured buttery gardens at Choa ChuKang Park Connector.
