Next Sunday, September 7, we are launching
phase 2 of HomePointe…FAITH PATH.
Faith Path will encourage and equip parents to help
their children know and love our Lord. Of great
importance for families w/children birth-17 years. Please confirm in
the next 2 weeks that the church office has your contact info
including parents’ names and email address(es), children’s names
and birthdates.
LIFE Groups are set to begin a new season next
Sunday, September 7. The regular meeting
times for LIFE groups are the first and third
Sundays of each month through May. There is a
list of groups and leaders in the LIFE group
brochure in the foyers. For questions please see Walton Hook
or Leon Willis.
We are excited to announce the coming of Randy Harris on September 13th and 14th. Randy will speak at both the 8:15 and 10:30 AM services as well as conducting a combined auditorium class for the adults and teens that Sunday. There will be no
regular Adult Bible Classes that day. Randy is the son of Cecil Harris and brother of Rob Harris who both attend here. He is a professor at Abilene Christian University, an author, and a much sought after speaker around the brotherhood.

Sympathy Our sympathy to the family of
Martha Mason who passed away
last Wednesday evening. Martha was
the longest member of our
congregation! Visitation will be here
tomorrow night from 6-8 PM, and the
funeral will be here on Tuesday
at 10:00 AM.
Worship, Too is Back!!
Beginning next Sunday,
September 7, Worship, Too, will
be available during both Sunday
morning worship services! It is
for children 3 years to 3rd grade.
They will be dismissed after
communion to Room 4 where they
will hear a bible lesson on their
level. Children who attend during
the 8:15 service will be taken to
their classes following Worship,
Too. Volunteers on a rotation
basis are always welcome!

on the birth of a granddaughter,
Ingrid James Halford! She was born
on August 22, and weighed
7 lbs and was 19 1/4 inches long. Proud
parents are Adam and Bethany and
proud big sister is Matilda! Judy Lamp
is the proud great-grandmother!
Congratulations to Raymond and
Allyson Carter on the bir th of a gir l,
Naomi Desiree` born on August 27!
She weighed 7 lbs 9 oz and was 20
inches long. Proud grandparents are
Desiree and Alan Young, and proud
great-grandmothers are Dorothy Young

FOR CHRIST
LTC is for 3rd-12th graders.
There are a number of different ways
to participate, from Bible Bowl or
Daily Devotional Challenge, to
Puppets or Drama, and more. There’s
definitely something for everyone!
Registration is due by September
10th. If you were unable to come to
the parent meeting last Sunday, you
may pick up a form in the North
Foyer, then place completed forms in
either drop boxes that are located in
both foyers.

Welcome to the Conn family who moved here in
December of 2013 from Tampa, FL, where they attended the Henderson Blvd.
Church of Christ. Robert is a History and Latin teacher at NWA Classical
Academy and Lauren is Senior Manager of Sales Tax Controls for Walmart.
Both Robert and Lauren graduated from Harding University and Florida State
University. Robert is now pursuing his Ph.D in Classical Civilizations from
the University of Florida. He has taught Bible classes focused on Biblical
Archaeology and Biblical History. Both Robert and Lauren enjoy traveling,
board games and reading. Robert is the fourth (IV) in his family to be named
Robert and Robert “Quinn” is the fifth (V). We are very happy to have this
fine family worshipping and serving God with us. Welcome!

Baptism We rejoice with Christian Bryan in
his recent decision to put on Christ
in baptism! He was baptized by his
father, Greg, on August 16. He is
the son of Greg and Becky, and the
grandson of Gary and Lana Cobb. Camp Quest
Camp Quest is October 3-5, at the
Wilderness Campground in
Branson, MO! The theme this
year is Home Improvement!
Everyone is welcome! Please call
the campground to reserve your
camp site or cabin. You can also
book a hotel room if you prefer.
Activities will begin Friday
evening through Sunday morning
worship. Please see the table set
up in the back of the Worship
Center for information and sign-up
sheets. There are t-shirt order
