Want to make a positive impact on the lives of many? Recycle your used books! (see reverse for types) Every book collected will go to one of the following groups: J. Michael Lunsford Middle School Library (our community Middle School) International Book Project (They send books to schools, libraries, community organizations and Peace Corps volunteers throughout the developing worlds and in the United States) OPERATION PAPERBACK (They send books to deployed American troops.) Give your books to any Lunsford student during the month of April. Come to the book donation drive-through at the school on Saturday, April 28, 2012, 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Two ways to donate: Books for America (They build and improve libraries in Washington, DC area schools, shelters, prisons and more; They support reading programs; They provide children in the Nation's Capital with their first take- home books.) Acceptable Books• Condition: All donated books

must be in good condition. Please do not donate books that have:– Broken bindings– Torn or missing pages– Excessive underlining or highlighting– Yellowed pages

• Types of Books: All kinds EXCEPT:– Magazines– Journals (except JAMA and the New England

Journal of Medicine)– Encyclopedias– Workbooks– Textbooks more than 10 years old (except

agriculture books)
