Nassau Girl Arranged For Peace Conference

Miss Anita Burke of Oak street Baldwin, president of the New Rochelle peace group, was .in charge of arrarigements for the annual conference of the Middle Atlantic Student Peace federation, Saturday, held on the campus of the College of New Rochelle. More than 200 delegates from 24 eastern colleges attended. The conference featured panel discussions on paramount world issues, and ..n address by Dr. Charles Fenwick, American delegate to * the Lima peace conference last winter and president of the Catholic Associa­tion for International Peace. Miss Ann Collins of Garden City and Miss Rita Hennessy of Plandome were among those who assisted Miss Burke in arrangements.
