From The President’s Desk
Dear Members,
Warm Wishes!
In The Waltair Club, a series of events took place this month to entertain the members. It started
with The Waltair Club Volley Ball Premier League held on 8th and 9th February. Six teams
participated with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. The Waltair Club Cricket Premier League
was held on 25th and 26th February. The five participating teams played with lot of ambition and
aggression. Audience witnessed the brilliant performance by the teams. They thoroughly enjoyed watching the matches along
with drinks and special menu. The matches had been scheduled in the evenings with ample facilities.
The Ladies Committee conducted Car Rally on 19th February. Participants with over 20 cars in all, were flagged off from the
Club premises, each team armed with some clues and fun activities to be done. All in all it was a fun rally.
The Entertainment Committee organized an event on Valentine's Day themed "Red Affair". The entire place, beautifully draped in
red and foot tapping music created an apt atmosphere for couples to enjoy the evening. Another entertaining event at Club was
Seagrams Musical Night. The musical band sent audience into raptures with their mesmerizing rendition. Another musical event
"Bollywood Night" was a Karaoke Night in which members actively participated singing melodious tunes and dancing the night
away to the beats of the DJ.
We are happy to announce that a special menu is introduced for weekends at 2010 Restaurant and hope the members would
appreciate it. As we have two big festivals coming in this month, Holi and Ugadi, I wish all the members a very happy and safe
Holi and a very successful new year. With summer setting in and the so called 'examination fever' in the air, it is very important
to keep 'cool' to handle the situation. Wishing you all once again a very happy Ugadi.
With Warm Regards,
A. Satyanarayana
