Event Background: Throughout the day, Boston 2024 will delineate why Boston is the strongest, most reliable partner for the U.S. Olympic Committee to bring the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games back to the United States in 2024. The agenda will reinforce that Boston is a perfect-sized, walkable city uniquely positioned to deliver innovative, sustainable Games of the future and will provide the best possible experience for the Olympic family. The visit will demonstrate Boston’s unified support from and formidable collaboration with the city’s community of government, business and civic leaders. Finally, the visit will reiterate that Boston, in partnership with the USOC, can and will prevail with the International Olympic Committee. The schedule for the day is divided into specific segments outlined below, and a detailed schedule is attached hereto.
